Battle Lines

It is the year 2617 and Eldahar stands on the brink of destruction.
Split by North into two parallel halves in the year 2601,
Chaos now seeks to bring both halves crashing back together
in a climactic show down and struggle for power.

Only an unlikely alliance between sworn enemies and mad entities
can save the Animus now from a bleak Chaos filled future.

Let Battle commence...

A World gone Wrong - Session 23/05/04

On the other side of the door is a corridor with a red curtain... on both sides and the corridor ends in another red curtains....

Yainar sends one of his magical scouts in to assess the situation. An unstable planal environment - a staging post of chaos entities, poised on a cusp of reality over a war torn world... Chaos forces rife. Battle ensuing. Tremendous energy sources detected. Chaos energy abundance. Of fifteen factors in intensity. Chaos Lord pending arrival. Further scouting would be required however, possibility of detection would increase per minute by 50%.

Yainar - "Sounds like a hot spot..."

Tomorrow - "Yeah, that could be Eldahar. We need some way of finding out for sure though."

"Lord Yainar - Will we be able to come back?"
"It remains open until I shut the door."

Tomorrow and the others say farewell.

Time for Tragedy
Tomorrow and Syrene both enter Ragnek's head for protection as Ragnek wears the items of Purgatory.

Ragnek CAM - View screen.

Ragnek makes sure that his gray cloak masks his existence. The last thing he wants is to be detected by Chaos.

Deathly deadly silence.... Astral Energy.

Anarchic Astral Plane - likened to a school of fish all swimming in random directions until willed to do otherwise.

Staff, Orb in Staff, Sword... Items of Balance and Rings of Weal. Ithillan's armor inside him.

After walking about 20 feet, Ragnek and the others sense something. Mor Xul - First Eternal of Chaos.

Suddenly the doors inside their minds which normally lead to the other Crown wielders, burst inwards as if struck a god-like blow. An entity invades their inner most sanctum and time itself seems to almost stand still.

7" Tall. Skin is blood red, and slick like the man has just freshly been bled. His head has no skin, and is just covered in slick wet fresh blood. His eyes are like bottomless pits of darkness. He wears a Red Ring on his finger, has a sword with a red blade in his hand is wearing 4 Crowns of Power.

The door seems to vanish. Curtains disappear. Floor disappears.

"What is this, I see before me. I see at last, my Master has delivered on his promise. He said that one day, it would be complete. And that day is today. I thank you Ragnek Stormcrow, for returning that which was lost."

Ragnek and Syrene cling to a tiny piece of free will and call on the 3 Rings of Weal for aid.

"I am Mor Xul...."

Chaotic Energy.... Pain on your soul... Changing life experiences. Resists suicide.

Mor Xul wears a blood red Mask - This red mask very angular look making the being appear elven underneath.... Red ring on finger and again, you sense crowns... and you sense that its these things that are dampening - almost disabling your own crowns....

Mor Xul offers Ragnek a deal. Syrene's life in return for info on the Anima.

Mor Xul isn't one for banter and bargaining. He only offers Ragnek the one chance and Ragnek's defiance only aggravates the First Eternal, who is not used to meeting such foes any more. But it is all of no matter - Mor Xul only wants Ragnek's crown. The location of the Anima would be like the cherry on the cake.

Syrene is beheaded in front of him....

"To the wheel...." Mor Xul declares, once more sweeping darkness upon Ragnek's mind.

Ragnek awakens again. This time the 8 spoked Chaos wheel of pain is standing upright with him still shackled to it. Nearby the Pit of Chaos energy still boils, hisses and spits defiance at the world. But right by Ragnek, a Demon stands. This demon is 12 feet tall, blood red, wears a loin cloth and has flaming skin with living fire elementals actually moving through its fur and skin crevices... It also wields a Pitch fork and gives Ragnek a strangely gentle prod.

As it touches him, he suddenly sees an image of Harmony in his mind. Her aura pervades and soothes his consciousness, filling the chasms left by Mor Xul's soul wracking torture.

At first Ragnek is reluctant to believe that it is Harmony. After all, he has just seen Mor Xul behead his wife before his eyes.

Weeping - 7th Door.... The Door to the Room of Time....

Ragnek and Tomorrow are in the Room of the Time. The Library of the Architect.

Back to Eldahar...

Miriadra sat on chair... Ashar....

Ragnek fills Ashar in on what he has seen. The horror of a Chaos Filled Future.

Syrene is gone ... But Ashar says she can be recreated from Ragnek's memories and filled in by the memories of the World - albeit without a soul. She can then share Ragnek's - but will need her Soul back in order to have a future / children etc.

"We're gonna get her back...."  states Tomorrow, with as much belief and conviction as his shattered heart can muster.

Tomorrow and the others go through to see what is happening on the other side.

Yainar will keep the door open for a while after they pass through.

It is the year 2620 and Arch Duke Morgrim still rules The Broken Realm.

The gateway between Realms is now a 1000 miles wide.

Morgrim is using all the energy of Eldahar to create Demons and weapons for his armies. His armies are pouring forth from Eldahar into the Idiom through a single solid anchor (created by Ashar).

The anchor goes to the World of Eraharn (Ashar's second choice for an anchor site).

All the other Realms of Eldahar have already been drained and crumbled away to dust.

Now Morgrim is running out of energy. He has enslaved Ashar and slaughtered all the other Crown Wielders.

Ashar is bound upon a Chaos Wheel - his spirit is constantly ablaze. He is repeatedly tormented and tortured until he answers Morgrim's questions. Ashar has helped Morgrim attack the Idiom.

Morgrim's army is a the largest thing imaginable with weapons and devices of astronomical size. For instance, one Dark grey Chaos Sphere is 50 miles across. Another Dark Grey monolith stands 100 miles in height and can drain all the light from a World in the space of a few minutes, plunging everything into darkness. A million shadow spawn cling to its surface, awaiting their time to drink and feed.

Tomorrow is captured and doesn't return. Ragnek and Syrene go through to rescue him but are quickly subdued too. Morgrim possesses the other Crowns and senses their prescience. 4 Crowns out weigh 2.

It is Harmony who rescues them from Mor Xul's dungeon and it is Harmony who tells them how to easily travel back to their own Time - with a little help from her of course.

Yainar feels terrible that they are captured and attempts a rescue. He and the Chaos Warrior Wizard Arkon, the Mariner with his mystic sea-shell Horn and power net and Hex, Queen of Curses and Power Glyphs enter through the doorway. But they soon run into a host of trouble to Morgrim's amusement. Morgrim traps Ragnek, Syrene and Tomorrow in his very own private plane - inside his imagination.

Mor Xul himself torments Ragnek and the others - "Who are these fools. Of flesh and bone? Friends of yours?"

Mor Xul torments Ragnek by killing Syrene before his eyes. The latest First Eternal of Mordark beheads her with the Red Sword of Chaos.

Session 30-05-04
The Persuaders

Tomorrow goes to visit Danae in the Orion Plane of Heartland.

Ragnek - "What chance is there of summoning Law into the World. If Chaos is here, can we not summon Rouse, or maybe Luaci?"
Ashar isn't so sure.

Ragnek mentions the Horn of Heroes and Summoning the Lost.
"They're heroes, that are born and live on T'Shildren. When they die they go to T'Shildren and are later reborn to live a hero's life all over again."

The Horn of Heroes

"We are natural born killers," says Ashar. "Eldahar has created us to do its dirty work."

Ragnek summons the Immortals of Purgatory from his Castle - He sits on the Throne.

No response, even after Ragnek sends forth a major summons to the Immortals.

In Heart land - Things are pretty wild here. Well, they have had 3,500 Hell refugees.

Ragnek merges Syrene and his throne together.

Ashar - Ok, I have made contact with Mekka - the Black. Mekka is at the moment unwilling to participate in what it sees as a Western problem. Don't worry though says Ashar, I have some sway now in the Eastern lands. So, I can exert pressure. Just not as quick would as I would have liked.

Van arrives looking rushed and uptight.

Van starts pacing up and down.

Ragnek tells Van about Syrene. "There is just me...."

He then tells Van about the future and how bleak it is.

Van learns about the other Eldahar - North and Chaos.

I am going to need help says Vangard.

To raise an army is one thing. To lead an army is another. But I cannot everywhere. I am going to need people to keep this force together.

I was thinking about summoning the Lost - The Unsung heroes.

Ragnek explains about the Lost.

Army will also need protection. Protection from magic. Also, a ground based army is vulnerable from the air. We will need aerial protection. We will also need a network of communication....

I'll use my daughter... though she has no real magical powers says Vangard.

Ashar gives Van 100 of his lethal highly trained Spirit Gard.

Communication Orb of Purgatory. No range. Ragnek to communicate with them. See them and hear them. Sphere has 7 facets inside of it.

Ragnek's orb works.

Tomorrow contacts again - I've told Danae and Abbadon the good news. They've taken it surprisingly well really. All eggs in Heart land - convinced its a life boat. That she and Abbadon and the others can protect the Plane. And even that Orion himself will somehow in his divine whatever, transmogrify the plane and make it real, safe... a proper World. A new Eldahar.

Danae - "We will defend this new World to the bitter end."

Orion is a conduit - when Orion is consumed by Chaos, he will give up the keys to Heartland and allow Chaos entry.

Danae will become a threat to Heartland too.... if the Crowns become compromised, so will Danae - and Heartland will fall.

Ragnek addresses the other Immortals.... Sarah - "I am exhausted. I can barely talk. I am trying to correct the atmosphere in Elandia. But the damage is terrible."

Lomax - "I am sorry I cannot attend. Heaven is still in turmoil. There has been another rebellion and a breakaway of Gods have attempted to bargain with the Arch Angels. to no avail. The Arch Angels prepare to march on Hell. And from what I have heard, the Demon Hierarchy of Hell has been reinstituted."

Rou - "We have a problem. Futures are dminishing. Rapidly. Normally everyone, every being has one line of fate that can be cut or spliced and adjusted on the weave. On the pattern of the world. But the pattern is unravelling. The weave is weakening and now it seems as if we have a finite ammount of fate. We are attempting to weave and extend life and the future to make way for a new dawn. A new day. But our threads are turning brittle and crumbling. If this continues, there will be no fate, bar that that mortals make."

Rad - no comment.

Ragnek - In a couple of hours, a force of Chaos will come through from an alternate Eldahar....

Sarah - "After everything you have already told us - all the impossible facts and unbelievable revelations - now you add this - something beyond all that has come before !"

"We are all going to die !" says Rou.

Sarah looks horrifed !

Lomax - "This is a time for prayer."

Ashar pipes in with a threat. "A part of me is restrained from harming you and breaking our bond. But a large part of me will come down and obliterate you, then suffer in silence."

Koenig thinks that going into the Star Lodge is a bad idea. "If I went in there again, I would never leave. It is too big a tempatation - to live forever and never have to face one's responsibilities. No Ragnek, do not send anyone there, unless of course to decide some tactical fate. It is a prison in the making."

Danae is pacing around. Tomorrow comments about Danae - "If she doesn't leave and help us against chaos, she'll screw everything up and we'll fail without her crown and then she'll be Chaos bait."

Hyperthetical question from Ragnek - "If all Crowns came together and willed for Orion to come back - what would happen?"

"Probably nothing - perhaps some cosmic realignment and increased Orion influenced activity, but not full reconstitution," says Ashar.

"Talk about putting all your fruits in one fruit loop," utters Tomorrow, describing the religious Orion fervor encountered in Heartland.

Idea - Drag Chaos down to same level - let them access Eldahar. "It's the only way of beating them at their own game."

Someone needs to travel through the Idiom in search of Harmony. "Harmony is the only being I'd trust to take charge. She's the most balanced being I know," says Ragnek.

Who is going to run the show at the end of all this? Orion, Ashar, Harmony? Ragnek? Baphomet?

Ragnek suggests going to pay a visit to the Tower of Time.

Tomorrow says "Does he (Ashar) really want his daughter to come back?"

"All MorZul needs is 3 Crowns and he'll be able batter any door open..." - Ragnek.

Session 07-06-04
Making Plans
Did Orion have prolepsis like Haletha? Did he see it all coming?

Ragnek pops off to Kane and the Ring of Tone stones where Queen Red appeared earlier that day. It is still raining.

Ragnek uses his new staff to search for Law and Chaos in the area. Theory - Chaos in all of its power is probably able to locate Red's Realm jump and use that location to bridge the Realms.

Nothing obvious to see. No sign of Red's passage.

Ragnek then turns to the Eye of All Hearts and starts exploring the astral plane through a process of elimination - trying to find something amiss.

Ragnek moves further away and tries analysing it from there instead.

Snap shots of the astral plane.

Tomorrow theorises that it is the World itself in denial that has erased Queen Red's visit to the hill top.

Tomorrow goes to speak with the Baron, Balthazar and tell him the latest news.

Scroll at feet... detailing the location of the Horn of Heroes - located in Ischandi's Ice Tunnels. Guarded by the Jixilel Yamaraf. Picture - a block of ice with a plain, slightly mishapen ivory horn with strap of leather attached.... sunken into ice. Jixilel - Broad humanoid shape.... shadow shape akin to a Monster Manual.

Ashar contacts Ragnek and tells him how he is getting on with the Palasdines. Ashar needs someone to visit the Mother in Palasdine.

Elanis arrives - looking Radiant. Hangs up hood and cloak and waits for Ragnek's explaination.

Ragnek helps himself to a glass of wine and smokes his pipe.

Elanis - "We are all balanced on some great knife edge."

Elanis suggests that only sorcerers are likely to gain access to the Mother. Even though Elanis volunteers, she doubts that she will succeed.

The Baron of Madness
Balthazar - 30 foot tall - Metal is some bizarre alloy - it looks like Darkened adeneng glass like... Magical energy... spirit, mind and soul into this form.... Called it Balthadon. Metal golum. It the main body has jigsaw shaped pieces embedded in the surface... and hole and squares....  embedded items. 99 spaces. web lightning, Baron has positioned this place in Damorkand...

600 feet square. Caught up in spells.

Balthazar's mad rant - "This is a war where only the strongest will survive. I will survive. I will not cower, I will not hide. I have seen that future. No, I have been shown the power of what I now possess. It is but a open doorway. A doorway to greater things. The Titans knew. They had the idea. Nothing else mattered. Just power. The power to create. The power to destroy. I have the power. I can do anything I want. I can summon anything. Perform any magic. Know any skill. I am a Titan. And I will not bow. To anyone. or Anything. We are the Titans. Join me Tomorrow. Gather your power. Learn what you are capable of. Shed your humanity. And embrace the unthinkable."

Ashar admits the reason why he gave Balthazar the power to call up scrolls of knowledge as the Spirit Equinox.
"I chose him because he had a weakness of character .I knew he would use the power to its limit and suffer for it. I also knew that when he did, he would show the rest of you the danger of it. Sometimes just saying something isn't enough. You need to see it to truly understand it."

14-06-04
Ragnek suggests that Ashar capture Balthazar and extract the Crown from him.

Ashar is reluctant and asks "But where will that end? With Danae being next? Or Brin? Or you...?"
Red will be willing to visit the Mother of Palasdine but is it too much to lose if things go wrong ? Tamara is another possibility. Tamara is a Master class Far sensor and Grand Master Redactor.
Who will approach and attempt communication with Eskanu?
Who will attempt to make contact with North and the others on the Alternate Eldahar.
Brin is willing to go along with anything anyone suggests. Brin has actually been introduced to King.
"We can't give up," says Tomorrow.

"Maybe the future has been changed simply by you being here..." suggests Ashar.

"We're trying to unite as many powerful beings as possible to save the World from utter destruction," says Ragnek.

Brin at the Palace of Andor with King and Prince.

Tomorrow suggests making an all seeing all knowing Oracle. He gets this idea from Balthazar as The Baron has given himself the sum of all knowledge about the Titans - directly into his head.

To know everything that I know and you know.
To be able to call upon any up to date second by second knowledge in the World and instantly process it - and therefore be instantly aware when information in the World is being changed or altered but for all this information to not limit, slow or incapitate it in any way and for it to be able to extrapolate information from unlimited sources and even fill in missing information with hypothesis.
Be unable to make any offensive action and will not answer any questions unless asked by us or allowed to do so by us - including the Hand of Cairis. Be unable to harm, alter or effect a being physically or spiritually or any other means. Can use any physical skill but cannot manifest magical, mystical or astral powers.
It wil be female and lovely but not above high human comliness. Cannot reproduce. Can have a soul if world decides.
It will have an in built immediate danger sense and shift instantly to any part of the world it wants and will be uneffected by any mystical, kinetic, mental, spiritual and magical attack (as decided by the world) except that of you and me.
Want it to answer all questions put to it in a positive way that is also unbiased and straight forward.

Personality like Harmonies - but physically not similar. Immortal. Cannot be currupted, changed or effected in any way unless the World is utterly destroyed and so with it the Animus. As long as Animus exists so does it.

Tomorrow and Brin follow Ragnek's lead in creating this new construct.

Creation of Aura - The World Oracle

The 3 Crowns are utterly drained - The World seems to slow down and darken for a moment.... A sphere of energy appears before them on the Hill top and disintegrates the entire Hill top....

Blizzard - Ragnek clears it and enters Stormcrow's Valley.

Stormcrow is on Dream Realm. Still no answer on the Tower.

Ragnek creates an Orb of Communication with The Wise - passive, verbal communication with Stormcrow.

Flaming red orb falls at Ragnek's Feet.

Ragnek and Tomorrow travel to somewhere 50+ miles south Doomwaith, just in the foot hills of the Moon Mountains. They find a secluded tree dotted dell and prepare for their creation.

In the mean time Ashar contacts them.

Ashar currently knows nothing about what they are planning. He is keeping an eye on Balthazar though.
Ashar has secured the Home of Khur.

How many Wise - 4 + Stormcrow.

Elanis - Ragnek - Mizren - Tomorrow = The Nine.

Wise will channelled through Tomorrow and an astral link.

Tomorrow passes out, so does Mizren, all the Wise, Ragnek and Elanis....

When Brin awakes It appears to be the middle of the night - the World has grown very dark. She wakes Ragnek next, who quickly realises he has no memory of where he is or how he got there.

A few moments later, a young woman  steps forward and introduces herself as "Aura". She is human appearing - Silver hair - Grey eyes - smokey and very deep in color with specks of light.
This female appears 21. 5'8. Slender build. Attractive. By no means ugly.... Blemishes - none, no marking.... has an oval shaped face... delicate hands.... is garbed in a simple grey woolen dress.... Similar to a Kori's.

Ashar communicates with Ragnek - "What have you done...?" he asks sombrely. "I knew you were planning something big but just not this big.... once again I underestimate the extent of your actions. Even after warning you - to be able to do something doesn't mean you have to or should. Did showing you Balthazar mean nothing ?"

Ragnek tries to fill him in, but because he is missing memories, Ashar fills the rest in himself.

The Overlord of Daig announces that by creating The Oracle, 6% of the World's total energy reserves have been drained ! Ragnek and Tomorrow are shocked at the news.

WHEN YOU CAME INTO BEING, JUST HOW BIG A BANG DID IT MAKE? ARE WE TALKING PEOPLE ACROSS THE WORLD KNOW SOMETHINGS UP - OR EVEN BIGGER?
All pantheons felt my coming, All Gods and Deities. All Immortals, All astral dwelling entities and astral sensitives. All crown wielders, past, present and future - wielders of the Heart and Him - Orion.

IS ANYTHING ATTEMPTING TO COME HERE BECAUSE OF YOUR CREATION? - Ragnek.
No, not directly here. My creation drew energy from everywhere. Hence there was no local detonation.

"O BOY !" coins Ragnek.

Session 20/06/04
THE ORACLE OF ELDAHAR
Ashar materialises near Ragnek, Tomorrow and Brin. Brin is not put off by his presence but a trifle wary. "Is this the Ashar you warned me about?" she asks Tomorrow privately.
"Oh yes...." the warrior replies.

The Oracle is asked several important questions....

IS THERE A WAY OF ACCESSING POWER INSIDE THE MOTHER OF PALASDINE'S NULL-ROOM ? asks Ashar.
No - I have no knowledge of anything inside that place. It is completely shut off from the World and always has been.
WHAT IS THE MOST LIKELY POINT OF ENTRY FOR A NEW CHAOS THREAT?
The Land formally known as Evermore - 88% probability.

IS THERE A WAY OF HEALING THE WORLD'S HEART WITHOUT RE-CONSTITUTING ORION?
No. The World's Heart as it is perceived is in fact a construct and physical representation of power - as created by the Will of Orion. As it stands, the Heart and Star Elder are one and the same.

Ashar arrives with a burning red eye and right hand....

You first - says Ragnek.
No, after you - laughs Tomorrow.
Very kind of you, says Ragnek.

AURA - WE NEED TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE MOTHER OF THE PALASDINE EMPIRE.
HYPOTHETICALLY - WHO IS THE BEST PERSON TO SEND AS AN AMBASSADOR INTO HER PRESENCE....
Taking into account as many factors as are relevent, the best person for this task is hypothetically Danae.

HOW DO WE BREAK DANAE OUT OF HEARTLAND?
I have no direct information about Heartland as it exists as a seperate Realm to this one.

I THOUGHT HEARTLAND WAS JUST A BIG CHEESY PLANE. THAT HAD A LOT OF SOULS AND THOUGHTS GONE INTO IT.
Heartland is indeed a planal construct. But where it differs from a normal plane is in its complexity. It is the amalgamation of 4 very powerful minds who are all touched by the Mind of Him. He manifests directly into their consciousnesses. He is the Shadow that speaks to them in their dreams.

TOMORROW - CAN YOU SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE IDS?
No. My knowledge is limited to Eldahar Prime. However, if someone returns with knowledge of the Ids, I am able to use that information to formulate better answers.

ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH WHAT IS HAPPENING ON THE OTHER REALMS OF ELDAHAR.
Yes, but my information is not current.

ESKANU WAS GOING FOR CLUTCHES OF DRAGON EGGS. ARE THERE ANY MORE CLUTCHES OF EGGS?
I do not have that knowledge. I only possess knowledge of things that are already known to someone or something.

THESE REALM LORDS - THEY WERE LOOKING...
Yes.

Ashar is tapping his fingers. "Is this the extent of your questions? Is this why you have created a being of this magnitude?"

Kyth's Hall is open - The Hounds of Damasku spill forth. The Hunters are abroad...

Tomorrow pursues Methos across the Astral Plane.

He finds Methos, who senses him and slides sideways through the astral plane to another Realm.

WHAT WAS HE LOOKING FOR?
His mind is like a Dragons. It is configured differently than other beings. It is unstructured and therefore all emissions into the World are masked. However, probability is high that he was gathering information on you and your companions.

TOMORROW ASKS - HOW COME YOU CAN'T READ HIS MIND.
All Ancient Dragons are aware of anything or anyone being aware of them. This awareness makes them impossible to surprise. Their minds are configured in random so that anyone attempting to control them or read their minds just gets gibberish that cannot be made sense of. It is like a cryptic puzzle of genius level. Without the key, all thoughts are meaningless. Only Methos has that key.

IS METHOS A DRAGON?
There is a high probability that Methos has Draconic origins. However, his existence does not pre-date the Breaking of the World. This would suggest he is also linked to the Events of year 201.

"He's got astral crabs..." - says Tomorrow referring to Methos' sideways travel through the Realms.

WHO DO WE NEED TO MAKE ALLIANCES WITH?

ARE YOU AWARE OF AN ENTRANCE TO THE TOWER OF TIME?

Tower of Time. "North got there once, he could get there again couldn't he?"

WHERE'S THE MOST LIKELY PLACE TO FIND THIS METHOS CHARACTER?
On the Moon in the Palace of Saberras.

You would not have, it is one of his creations. Many Dragons live there and sleep there. It is less stifling than the World.

IS SHEFANHOW DEAD?
Yes. Completely dead as defined by it. His Heartstone is destroyed.

IS BAPHOMET GONE TOO?
I have no complete information on the fate of Baphomet. However, in 201, the World was changed, significantly and many things were reconfigured to fit into the new world order. Is is highly probable that Baphomet is manifest in some way in this world as Orion is manifest, as all previous Crown wielders are still manifest. Power never truly fades, it changes.

IS METHOS AN INCARNATION OF BAPHOMET?
High. But nothing in this World is truly real at the moment. Everything is seen as through the eyes of another.

IF YOU CONTROL THE WORLD - AS BAPHOMET ONCE MUST HAVE, AND YOU GET OUSTED AND KICKED IN THE ASTRAL GOOLIES... DO YOU STILL RETAIN SOME POWER?

It is likely that once you are that powerful, you will always be that powerful. However, your power only comes from your surroundings. Knowledge without belief and the power to influence is meaningless. Correction, not meaningless, impotent.

Godark - Herald of the Ordainer.

Ashar contacts showing some concern about the Titan City of Gharen Yonirn - In the Underdeeps - The Baron is attempting to summon something - The Ordainer.

There is reference to a Legend among the Titans... passed by word and thought of a dark time - many thousands of years ago... when a Titan - called The Ordainer, led an army of Cleansing Warriors on a crusade to purify the Idiom. The Ordainer purified 96% of the Idiom before being stopped at a place known as the Vex.

The Ordainer in Legend was slain and his being scattered across the Idiom by the Windred. A Titan sub species. An Ethereal type of Idiom travelor.

Summoning of the Ordainer is unlikely. Furthermore, the Ordainer would never in Legend listen to a summons.

Except from a former ally. From one of the Cleansing Warriors.

There are many legends. He may be attempting to use a ritual and several artefacts to duplicate something written in the ruins of Gharen Yonirn.

Godark. 6'6" height. Dressed in black, serrated armor. This armor is very very black.... it kind of absorbs the light. Helmet, matching black. Metallic face on front. Shield on beings back, black again... gloves, black... A big, two handed sword, held deftly in one hand... the sword is again, completely..... black.

3 Red Dragons materialise out of the Baron's chest. But the Black Sword flies up, around and into the back of the Baron's head before they can fully materialise.

Ashar - "Stop. Stop this at once !"

Krantakyn - The Gohde.

"Maybe we should destroy it then?"

Ashar opens up a portal to Evost Derry. Godark goes through, muttering about how terrible it is that Evost Derry has been demolished.

Ashar comments, saying "It is not a coincidence that the World has conjured forth this man, who just so happened to fall through a Titan window, gain various Titan artefacts of unknown origin and then suddenly return at the final hour."

Ragnek - The world has some form of fate working for it.

Tomorrow - "It does figure. I mean, The Animus may not be linked to the Idiom as it used to be, but its energy is still connected to the Idiom. So if a desire or a thought for something to occur or a primitive need is conveyed with that energy into the Idiom, its gonna effect other World Minds out there and link the Animus' fate to theirs."

Tomorrow - "That adds another whole dimension to ruling this place. You're not just effecting this world - you're capable of manipulating the other worlds..."

Ragnek - "On a grand level. A truly grand level."

Tomorrow - "So the Anima and the Animus are two halves of an Idiom Mind."

Figure of 8 - Infinity symbol.

Discussions on the Idiom...

R to A - What are we doing now?

Ragnek - "Rather than us going off and using another 10% of the World's energy, what is the best way for contacting North?"

Shall we try and get to the Tower of Time?

Journey to the Otherside.

Ragnek and his companions attempt to make contact with North and the Broken Realm.

Ghanin Yonirn - at the edge of a dirty big crator - Ashar, Tomorrow and Ragnek.

Lots of discussions about what to do.

Ashar says "My Spirit Guard are preparing defences...."

Tomorrow and Ragnek race each other to Kane to see the Oracle. En route, Tomorrow astrally deflects Ragnek onto a Palm tree island about 100 feet across. When Ragnek eventually gets to Kane a moment later, Tomorrow is whistling and looking innocent.

Aura is stood under an umbrella with Elanis. "We created something" she says.  "I felt the energy of the Star Lodge going through me, but I don't know why?"

"Aura is the all knowing immortal Oracle of Eldahar."

Elanis looks skeptical.

They ask the Oracle if Stormcrow and the other Wise are alright. She says "They're fine. They have all awakened but are weak on Spiritual energy. They do not remember what has happened and are in a state of alertness. You have an Orb though by which you can reassure them."

Ragnek attempts to make contact with the Balance. The Blank arrives, aka The Knight in Black and Gold. He says "It is Time."

Stormcrow doesn't believe that he had anything to do with creating Aura.

Tomorrow suggests Ragnek change his name to Cairless instead of Cairis.

Ragnek - Aura, can you and Elanis have a chat. Can you make a short list of powerful and influential people.

"We need a short list of these people. Including the Pale Saints of Shadow.

*Note - The Sword Gohde is in fact the weapon of the Destroyer of Worlds*

It is Time.

You are not the One.

He is not the One.

"Please don't tell me you're going to open up the Master Gate?" says Ashar.

She is not the One.

You will know the One.

Opening up the Master Gate on Mount Eldahar.

Void starts sucking in energy....

Staff - Robe and other things..... Circlet....

Falling - Light - 35 feet across.... hemisphere....

See light - see Ice - See red streaked sky...

In the ice you see frozen corpses.... corpses of Eldar. Corpses of Elves.... Corpses of Dwarves - Corpses of other beings that you don't recognise....

3000 frozen corpses.... all pale, ice coated, blue skinned... crystalised.... petroleum oily taint of Astral aura.

The Broken Realm.

Ashar and the Oras Remus await Ragnek and Tomorrow's return.

Ragnek briefs a very unhappy Ashar on what is about to happen between the Broken Realm and Eldahar.

The Oras Remus rips Ragnek's thoughts away so that Ashar can be brought up to speed quickly.

Vision of the beginning - Giant serpent in sky. Dragons without wings passing back and forth orbs of life energy in a volcanic chasm filled landscape.

Battle field - black charrred turf. You see Mountain in the distance, collapsing... crumbling away. You see the earth all around splitting and being thrown into the sky. You see the sun in the sky... turning black and its light dimming.... and sudden cold sweeping across the landscape... You see bodies.... bodies that spontaneously combust, then are instantly frozen, and then you see them disintregrated.......

Brin on the other side.

The Baron at a door. "It is time to unite. We must travel to the sunken city of Babel and together confront the Archaen Serpent to gain entrance to the clock mechanism. Then, only I possess the Titan knowledge to turn back the clock and save the World."

"The World's suffering will increase as the final hour draws closer."

"I will gain recognition as a True Titan !" the Baron declares.

Tomorrow shuts door on the Baron, making a loony circular gesture with his hand around his head.

Danae arrives at doorway with black eyes and a black crystal on her forehead.

"Ragnek you were right. Our best hope now lies with Ashar." says Danae. Suspicious or what? Has Danae been possessed by Ashar? YES.

"Which way we jump now is going to decide the whole course of this Universe," states Tomorrow dramatically.

Aura has arrived.

"The Master of the Oras Remus controls her," says Aura, about Danae.

Sithar is currently in a bath, in Lanium, Town of Brenthue, 14 Cascadet Lane, upper floor.  Confused.

Elanis is inside.

? Aura - What would be the best way of say bringing Orion back using the Heartland route ?

Methos - in the White Lodge at the moment. Master of it.

Communication from Abaddon - "I'm hoping this message reaches you. I am sending it with my spirt and my mind, in the hopes that the Starlodge picks it up. I am also praying to Orion that this is so. Heartland is under attack. I believe that Danae has fallen afoul of a dark spirit that weighs heavy chains upon her soul. Her eyes have gone black, like the black pits of Orush. Tamara is impirsoned in some strange contraption that renders her mind paralysed. I have retreated into my own mind. I will soon retreat into my Heartstone, but my Heartstone is cracked and imperfect. Even now I feel something attempting to enter. It is very powerful. I hope this message reaches the other Crown wielders and any allies who might believe in our cause. We have come so far. Our belief is unshakable. But this melevolence seeks to destroy us all. Worse still, I believe that this power may attempt to control us. To bend us to its will. And perhaps bring forth Orion in its name. This must not be allowed to happen. I will kill myself before this happens. I ask of all.... we would all rather die than see our belief turned to some twisted end. Rescue us, or damn us. You are our only hope.... I recognise you. You were there at the breaking. .... I recognise you....."

These final words suggest that Abbadon has seen Ashar many years before. Ashar must have returned as an Echo to the scene of the Breaking of the World. This opens up a whole new can of worms.

Tomorrow - "It stands to reason, that if we traversed as echo's, back into an echo of the past, so could have Ashar."

Ashar was at the Breaking of the World. If he was there, then like Ragnek as Thenox and the birth of Elanis, could Ashar have altered history to his own benefit - perhaps even his own birth?

The 13 Demon Spirits of the Armageddon clock, trapped in one form, Skathen.... begin to make their power play. As the 13 hours strike, Skathen becomes more and more powerful.

Someone needs to be in charge.
We don't want Ashar, The Baron, no Dragons, no Methos, no Chaos, no Law

Who are we gonna back?

Orion
Baphomet
Ashar
Eskanu
Tethys
Baron
First Eternal of Chaos
Skathen - The 13 Hours of the Demon Clock
Daycaster / Savar and the Spirits of ANU.
Harmony

Decided - Liberate Abaddon and Tamara and any one else we can in Heartland.

Subterfuge.... discussions of how to enter Heartland.

Ideas...
1) Alter aura's to appear as completely different entities and then possibly change them several times en route and once there.
2) Once in and on the way out, cleanse the area of aura impressions by doing something akin to a Aispel Aura - Area of Effect.
3) Shift Crown and real body inside imagination and act only through a projected, low power, off the radar form. (i.e. Use same tactic that Titans employed back in the Echo of the Past in their use of the Dream World).
4) Elanis suggests 4th way - Use a team of other people but help them kit out and prepare whilst keeping low profile yourselves - also allows yourselves to be doing something else.

Home' - Furlock - Spiritualist Detective....

Mages of the Black Rock,
Acerin Ra,
Soloman,
Hethcanter,
Tess,
Agnes, Old woman across the sea.
Elanis,

Laen Manslayer - Manslaying Rune, Unseen Rune.
Triskelle - Made by Ragnek - Replica.
Chantra of Phanes.

Hethcanter has the Thunderstaff of Solomon.

Aura - Only 2% of Runaic / Doe based Magic Items remain now, when compared to 2598. This does not include....

Transcendent Items - Aura refers to these as "Transients" - i.e. Ithillan's Items and Ragnek's Staff ; "These objects answer only to a Higher Power." In Truth, they are objects forged from a perfect Balance of Anima and Animus using Doe (opposite being Nether Doe - See Kryll Timeline) as a Stable power source.

Ragnek traverses a starry bridge to the Star Chamber - 12 stars hover overheard at different heights. Elanis follows him, but Tomorrow cannot. "You have now been accepted by the Star Lodge." "Is that it?" asks Ragnek.

Elanis' mission ;-

Enter Heartland,
Rescue Tamara, Abaddon,
Try not to get waylaid,
Try not to get killed,
The Party
1) Elanis
2) Jessica - Spawn Hunter
3) Acerin Ra
4) Hethcanter the White
5) Tess of the Sisterhood
6) Eldritch of Black Rock
7) Solomon
But of course, Tamara is firmly entrenched in the creation of sustaining of Heartland... she will not want to / be willing to leave. What then?

As Elanis points out, "We have no choice. We are all facing death in 12 and a half hours so we have nothing to lose. We must cause Ashar as many problems as possible."

White Lodge gate - Aura says it is "Currently on top of a hill, 3 miles southwest of the Village of Benbuckerry in Lanium, that is 5 miles east of the Town of Kempur. South..."

Ragnek doesn't have the Soul Cord anymore - he last had it when he was Overlord of Daig.

Ragnek's negativity is down to the fact he has lost his wife and there is no way of getting her back.

Ragnek is now paranoid to "fuck" - quote - That whatever he does, whatever he does, the Oras Remus is going to be reporting back to "God".

But Tomorrow tries to throw some optimistic perspective on this gloomy outlook. "Maybe if we put our Spirits and the Crowns inside our imaginations and only touched the World via an illusion, he would find it harder to track us. He would know we were off world so to speak, but not exactly where."

The Rescue.

Ragnek, Brin and Tomorrow are in south eastern Lanth.

Ragnek tries to use the Rings of Weal to summon or communicate with Harmony.

The Baron summons the Alfar through a portal... He opens an immense gateway for them to enter by... and travels off world to fetch them.

Elanis begins gathering her party to assault Heartland.

Brin - "If we lose, and this World is destroyed. We will endure. We will be able to make a new world. And if necessary, put things in it, like there are here. We could just imagine them."

Tomorrow - "Nothing is guarenteed here Brin. The last beings who had these Crowns had them taken from them. They lost a lot of power and freedom because of it. There's no guarentee that we'll get to keep these Crowns either. We can end up just as dead as everyone else."

Brin - "If that is the case, can we not just walk away and leave this world prior to the final few moments."

Tomorrow - "Run?"

"Withdraw."

Tomorrow - "Where would we go? It may be worse than anyway... we are a part of Eldahar. A part of the Cataclysm and a part of Orion and the events that surrounded him. We may run, but there may be no escape. How can run from ourselves. Everywhere we go, something of Eldahar is going to be with us. Acting like a magnet, drawing us back... "

"Eldahar's fate is the sum of all of its parts..."

Tomorrow - "If there was way for them in the Anima to contact us, don't you think they would have by now...? This other Ragnek and Syrene would have sent us a message or something... but zilch, diddly squat, nill."

Ragnek teleports to right next door to the gate.

Black sphere.... black energy.... Crackling - covering entire gateway....

500 foot diameter black metal sphere.... shiny, metal plates... smooth.... seems to contain a lot magical energy.... 1000 mages...Senses on it... magical eyes, all across surface... multiple consciousness... This is Ashar's Guardian Sphere.

Ragnek teleports back.

Falling star....

Ragnek senses the Baron leaving Eldahar when the Baron's door vanishes from his mind.

Elanis - Aura and Signar present in Starlodge. Aura tells him that The Baron has left and entered the Ids in search of the Alfar and the Great Foe.

Pleasent green hill. Quite steep. And on top of it, is a small ruined church. Eye ball of staff doesn't seem to spot anything...

Eye of all Hearts.... Astral black disk, about 2 inches off the ground, hovering there, 6 feet in diameter, centre of church....

Going down the plug hole...

Spinning continues, see images that appear to be animated.... See A Dragon.... blinking.... silver head, and it looks quite old... with a scar down one eye.... so that the eye appears to be blinded by cataract...

Flashes and images of trees.... you see a sun rise and fall....

Ragnek standing on a white glowing disk, 6 feet in diameter, it is hovering a few inches above ground. There is water running down the walls... into floor.... Rectangular... flowing water.... Ceiling is just a white glow...., the ground is water.... that is rippling and reflecting back random images that seem projected from the light above...

Image of Elan, ruins of it... image is of the Grey Mountains, Beldorn...

Methos has a white left eye.

"We meet again Thenox..."

"Our meeting was pre-ordained... what can I do for you old friend...?" asks Methos.

"I have come to talk... though talking doesn't solve much..." says Ragnek.

"You cannot prevent the inevitable..." says Methos. "What will come to pass is pre-ordained."

Ragnek is getting frustrated - "Look, Methos, if there was another way, I don't particularly want to blow things up."

Methos - "My choice has yet to be made."

R - from T - "What Do you think of the idea of bringing Orion into the World?"

"Better to not say Orion, but to reword it with past, present and future, for he represents all these things..."

It is what we make of it.

"If we chose you to be the 13th hr, would you be willing...?"

Methos - "Only a fool makes his choices prematurely, before he can see the Truth of the Choice."

Tomorrow - "We could do with the White Lodge to help with bringing back Orion."

Ragnek - "We believe that all 3 lodges, Black, Star and White are all linked and pivotal for future events.

R - "We need the White Lodge's influence..."

Tomorrow - "Tell him that the White Lodge is a facet of Orion's power and that in order to bring him back, we're gonna need it, whether he (Methos) likes it or not."

Archway, quite high, curves around,

Methos - "The Greatest Illusion is life itself. What happens all around you. What appears inevitable and of certainty and absoluteness... when the truth of Illusion is that it is but an illusion.... and that the Truth may simply not exist at all..."

Black Shadow with horns.... It is Skathen...

"Crown Bearer..... come out... Let us talk... Let us talk of our enemies.... If you will not talk to me, I will find someone else. Someone who perhaps doesn't like you..."

"Crown Bearer.... come out and talk... Don't hide inside your mind... You have nothing to fear from me. You know what I want. And I can offer a lot for your aid.... At least listen to my offer."

Ragnek comes out.

Skathen appears and attempts to make a deal with Ragnek.... offering a favor in return for Ragnek revealing the location or descriptions of Ashar's children.

Ragnek contemplates setting Skathen onto Ashar. He discusses such action with Tomorrow.

In Lanth. In street. Tomorrow summons aura (very poorly).

Asking Aura.
Aura arrives.

Tomorrow beams thoughts at Aura.

Q - Ashar's Children of Armageddon - What is likely to happen if Skathen kills some of Ashar's children?

A - Skathen only needs one child as he will absorb the Child into his Gestalt and tap its link to the Armageddon clock. This will increase Skathen's power and allow Skathen to hop from one child to the next at each appointed hour until the 13th hour comes.

Q - Ashar's children - How did they get to become Children of the Armageddon? How did Ashar get them to bypass Skathen?

A - Skathen and the other Demonic Hours were waiting with minor powers in the City of Khur. Ashar arranged for 2 unique beings known as Ki-rin to defeat and bind these Demonic Hours. These Ki-rin gained access to the Demonic Hours and learned some vital spiritual information from them. This information later made its way into Ashar's hands allowing him to use it in the breeding of his Children.

Q - What would happen if Skathen became the hours of the clock - as opposed to Ashar's or even some random spirit?

A - Ashar's children have been bred to complement events and Ashar's ultimate goals. Skathen and the other Demonic Hours however were made for a more simple purpose - To be the Heralds of Armageddon and unleash Armageddon upon the world in ever increasing degrees of destruction, despair and horror. The Demonic Hours were never designed to bear the World's pain - but to bring about the World's Pain by manifesting as Elements of the Apocalypse... storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, horrors, nightmares, plagues, swarms etc... Ashar's children are designed to be more defensive and protective - exactly the opposite.

Q - Is there truth in the idea that if one of Ashar's children died, i.e. not by Skathen's claws, would the World randomly choose another?

A - No. To be a Hour of the Armageddon clock, you would have to contain the necessary lineage and spiritual substance. A very rare combination. Half a dozen beings could potentially be able to the fill the gap... however, they would have to do so willingly...

Q - What would happen if no one stood in...?

A - Armageddon would continue, but without purpose, or control. It would be wild and unrestrained. Each hour hands over to the next. If there is no hour to hand over, all other Hours are forfeit.

Q - What happens to each hour once the hour is up?

A - The hour transcends... is the more popular theory. They die, but a part of them continues on to the next. Until after the 12th hour, a blending of parts of all 12 hours exists.

Q - These hours ? Are they now more powerful, now that the clock has started? Skathen and his cronies should be mega powerful shouldn't they?

A - The entity whose affinity is to this particular hour is perhaps for this hour, one of a handful of the most powerful beings in current existence. For this hour, Christian of Damorkand is invulnerable.

Q - You say that, but Skathen, couldn't he absorb the guy?

A - But Skathen and the other Demonic Hours intimately know Armageddon... they were made to be the hours of the clock and as such have the substance and spirit to exist within it. They too are growing power. Now the clock has started, they also cannot be destroyed.

Q - Why didn't Ashar just kill Skathen before the Clock started then ?

A - Because he couldn't be completely sure that his Children would be accepted by the clock. By killing Skathen and the others he may have risked unrestrained, uncontrolled Armageddon. At least by keeping Skathen alive, he knew the pattern and way Armageddon would unfold and could plan to go along with it.

Q - You say Ashar's children are more passive and the opposite of y'know, the Demonic hours. Does that mean Armageddon is gonna be, a walk in the park until zero hour?

A - No. Not by any means. Ashar's children are at the end of the day human and for the most part, quite in tune with their emotions and that of humanity. They will feel the suffering of the World and the pain of the people in it and will have to vent that pain and those feelings in order to not go insane. The manner of the vent, will manifest as earthquakes, plagues, etc, however they will take no pleasure in it and will not actively seek to bring such events to pass. Instead these events will simply be by-products of their own suffering.

Skathen and the Demonic hours are designed to feed off the suffering and gleefully bring such disasters about. They will channel the pain into others rather than suffer themselves.

Q - Do you know where this Christian is now?

A - The pain of the world is upon his shoulders. He stands naked before the End of All Things. The Eyes of everyone are upon him.

Christian is currently in Damorkand, in the Domain of Calasta. Near the coast. On the coast in fact.

An Offer of Alliance - A Titan bows down...

Tethys suddenly contacts Ragnek.

A - I believe it is the site where he saw his father executed and thrown from the top of a cliff.

Tethys calls directly to Ragnek's crown.

Child - She can't be more than 9 years old. She has red hair... long, wavy. Bright green eyes... really really bright green eyes. Freckles. Thin limbs and is dressed in a brown and green garment..., like a robe.

"You know who I am, I am the Mother of All Things," Tethys states. "I speak to you through the Eye of Power. The World is in great turmoil... I am the Titan of Rebirth but if this continues, the World will be barren. Life everywhere will end. No one will endure to reseed Creation and a void will engulf all things."

You have been seen to be open minded. You can understand the truth of this.

There are no divides between those who have no future.

We are one family. One kind. Of one mind and one fate. In our oneness lies our strength. Our only hope to endure.

I am fallen, (image of being cut from belly).  You are heir.

Tethys inclines her head and kneels before Ragnek, admitting that Ragnek and his kind are now the key to any future.

Ragnek doesn't like this... he doesn't like it one bit and feels quite uncomfortable.

Tethys says "Your roots to this place are deep. You care for its future."

"Can you help me?" asks Ragnek.

Tethys - "We are one family. Your roots to this place are deep. You care for the future and the past. You know that both are one as we are one."

What of Dagon?

Canarim, Dagga, Vorshim, Dagon, Tethys.

Tethys - "You are the vessel that once was full but now is empty. Dagon has come forth."

The Truth about Dagon is revealed. Ragnek and Syrene have brought forth another manifestation of this Human-like Titan.

Q - "Would you be able to provide any council in the next few hours."

Tethys - "We are One, of One Fate, I am yours to command."

Ragnek - "Your children against the Chaos army that is encroaching.... would be useful."

Tethys - "You are heir. You and others are heirs to the Heart Seed. You can reawaken the Heart Seed. You can undo what has been done and bring past and future folded back into One, One moment, One moment in Time. One moment to change what has been into what could be."

Ragnek is quite negative and he realises that all of his thoughts, no matter how guarded are reflected in the darkness around him... including Tethys's - hence both are truly on honest ground.

Tethys - "You are Heir. You and others hold the Fate of Everything in your hands. You have been chosen to be heir. You have strength in your roots. In your lineage and blood. The weight of your past pushes you onwards and supports you. You are not weak. Fate has made you strong and placed you in this moment. In this Time for a reason. You must accept your heritage, embrace your fate and follow it to its conclusion. To deny it, is to deny any future. Any future for us all. False hopes, false futures are like echos but instead echos of shadow. Only one future is chosen by fate. You are heir. That future is yours. Your right. Your duty.

Tethys - "I am fallen. My future is in shadow. I accept my future. But choose yours."

Ragnek says "I will stand and so shall the others. Even if they do not realise it yet."

"They realise. But they cannot face themselves."

"The first and greatest battle of any being, is overcoming its own weakness."

One of Tethys' children - Called "Hundred."

A part of me. (The purple / blue pulsing egg levitates into Ragnek's hand, where it throbs with life.)

Ragnek finds himself standing in front of Tomorrow as if no time has passed.

"Right, Aura can you show me a map of where this guy is, just so I can find it" says Tomorrow.

The egg almost immediately starts growing and unfurling roots. After a startling growth spurt and transformation it forms a cocoon and out hatches "Hundred..." - a soldier of Tethys. Hundred is Tethys' greatest warrior to date, fresh from her very own womb and made from her own flesh and bone. Created to be virtually unstoppable and resistant to magic, Hundred is a commander of her forces.

Ridges of bone around its head form a primative crown-like shape, taught leather-like skin and encrusted hide... tight exoskeleton over an inner skeleton with dozens of extra ribs and other bones blended with one another...

An 8 foot tall monstrosity. This is "Hundred

"You are Master, Lord and Heir." declares Hundred.

Purpose - To serve the Master, Lord and Heir and uphold the values of the Mother of Life.

Lure Danae out of Heartland...

Elanis - antimagic shield. ring of protection.

Next Session.... whenever it may be,
Ragnek and Tomorrow travel to Christian of Damorkand - current Bearer of the World's Pain. There they meet a frightening young man who for one brief hour, wields ultimate power.

The Armageddon clock begins to count down to zero hour.
Skathen locates the hours and begins defeating them. Who can stand against him?

Ashar's Clone army of the Deathwatch pour forth from Babel, into the World, taking control of strategic locations.

The Dragons of Eldahar attempt to flee the Prime, sensing its end. The astral plane however is sealed and the Dragons frantically tear at it in an effort to escape.

Heartland begins growing exponentially in power - pushing itself onto the Prime Material plane. By the 12th hour, it has consumed most of the continent of Eldahar, granting the Archetypes of Orion tremendous power.
