Ragnek addresses it and explains how important Tomorrow is to their mission. But the Doe-law refuses to answer him, prefering instead to just talk to Tomorrow.
Ragnek surveys takes a better look at the Doe-Law's atto-plane; It's rainbow coloured water looks only foot deep but he doesn't test it. The Lake appears a mile across and fades into a fine white mist before floating away into the same stars that fill the sky overhead. Hundreds of rainbow coloured spheres float in the air whilst tiny stars of light zip too and fro between them.
Companion - You left before our conversation was over.
"You were given the Ide," states the Doe-Law, as if that reason and that reason alone sealed Tomorrow's future.
"I was thier companion before I was ever yours," says Tomorrow.
"Are you saying that your agreement to become the Companion was a deception."
"Look at who and what I am," defends Tomorrow. "I'm a thief ! It's what I do."
"The Ide cannot be allowed to fall into the possession of Lesser Minds. The consequences would be dire."
The Doe Law envelops Tomorrow, pouring itself into his mind. Tomorrow is wracked with pain as the Doe-Law burns through his mind, creating new pathways and closing old ones. Ragnek, Syrene and Arden are powerless to interfere. After a minute though, the Doe-Law withdraws leaving Tomorrow's eyes burning with white fire.
"I can't see," gasps Tomorrow. "At least, not in the normal sense."
Ragnek blasts it with his power.
White - blinded by knowledge.
"He
is the Companion."
World that has
been reborn 9 times. Baphma gave Elarin the power of Rebirth.
The Red moon
in the rust-colored sky is called Babeyin.
It has strange unnatural straight lines - like Martian canals, running
across its surface; a recent addition according to Arden, who has never
seen their like before.
Elarin - World
of Mystics.
The current year is 19 - Hex - 671. It has been 1 year since the coming of the Fuzors and the whole of Elarin has been over run.
The Fuzors are a race of World miners and salvage scavengers;
Their leader is Belegod - a creature who consumes metal and precious minerals and is rumored to have been created in the very molten Heart of a World. Belegod has 22 Eyes, 16 Limbs and is over 200 feet in size.
Other beings in the area - Arden's friend - Noah, who has become iron.
Tomorrow, Ragnek, Syrene and Arden arrive in the Solen Caves ; Nirium the Seeker is missing.
Continent of Mhyren - Town of Crogen. Maya Kiln. (Maya means Lord)
The Plague of
Iron.
Stone steps leading up a raised section - on top of that is a crude stone chair.
No, Astral energy - nor ethereal - dream world;
Doesnt seem to want to work.
Expands -
Balance items don't seem to work.
Daylight - Over cast.
Transformation....
Change form - body doesn't vanish.
"Great, we've just been fucking petrified."
Open Crown.... Eng - Blue diamond - metallic.
Syrene - White metal statue... Green alaen - for Arden....
Ragnek's finger of "Fuck Off"
Half way up a mountain, in a range of mountains. No immediate sign of habitation... smattering of snow on ground, snow capped peaks. Trees, rocks, grass, bushes... Straggly clouds in sky, and some patches of rust coloured sky... Moon Early afternoon, big moon in sky - straight lines that cross it.... This is the Moon of Babeyin.
Down to settlement....
Pass a metal deer. Spirit in hibernation.
Ragnek is now
"a novelty balloon."
Rule - symbols glow, runes vibrate.
"I am summoned." the sword announces heroically.
The sword Rule explains what happened prior to Arden's departure for Eldahar ;-
"The
Mystics knew that Belegod would be coming as 15 years ago they had turned
away an Emmisary of the Devourer demanding we surrender the World and ourselves
to him. They tracked Belegod's journey in the stars, foreseeing when he
would arrive and spent a whole decade deciding what to do. In the end it
became clear that nothing we had on Elarin would be able to stand against
Belegod and his Master, The Devourer of Worlds. So a contest was held,
a Quest set and a person chosen to wield the instrument of the Heart, me.
You carry the Essence of Baphma within you. It alone can save us from Belegod
and his Master."
Arden's theory - "All the life of my World has become suspended in metal. The only way to reach it and navigate it is through the metal and metal alone."
Rule has already stated that he is Arden's link to the Heart of Elarin. So Syrene asks if he can channel energy directly from it. Because if he has a link, it stands to reason that she, Ragnek and Tomorrow should be able to.
Rule replies ;- "My link to the Mystic Heart is special. I do not know how it is achieved, only that it is. Perhaps it has something to do with me being forged on its surface. It is true, I do have a connection with it - But that connection is impeded by the same things that you are."
"Where do we go from here?" Tomorrow will ask.
Rule will have
the answer. "You must confront Belegod and
negotiate our World's Freedom."
Tomorrow - "How
about we just kill Belegod."
Rule - "Easier
said than done. But then, perhaps with your abilities, such a thing might
be possible."
The City
of Kilnoc lies 75 miles away.
One of Belegod's
mining legs descends there.
The leg is just
over 6000 feet thick and over 100 miles in length. It ploughs into the
ground and deep into the earth and is currently sucking the life right
out of Elarin.
It is one of
2 dozen such legs, descending from Belegod's floating City.
Belegod is just
one of many beings who live under the Devourer's rule. These beings are
collectively known as Metakons. Fuzors are their creations - beings made
from salvaged matter.
Ragnek and Syrene open their Crown ;-
They sense the flow of metal.
Tomorrow spins his head around. "That's pretty bloody drastic !"
Tomorrow suggests making a Seeing Sphere.
The key transforms - into a metal staff.
Not the same as enveloping a World.
Ragnek can't believe that the Crown isn't expanding in a sphere, but instead seems to be spreading its awareness through the root system of interconnecting metal.
Syrene says "Don't forget the Crown's are chameleonic and totally adaptive to wielders."
"So how did we change your key if it didn't change itself?"
Can't move mind out of body, even with Crown's awareness up.
Having to follow Cables.
Ragnek hollows out his metal arm into a hose and sucks up some iron-rich pond water. He then propels it, charged with POW into the air. What he notices however is that the energy very quickly dies - as if it is snuffed out by the surrounding air - stifled by the World around it.... obviously, Ragnek needs a more solid conductor to fling his POW along - however his experiment is in many respects successful.
Rust colored field to your left, you see what looks like a metal horse, lying on its side. But its different shades of metal and its head is horse-like, but more angular. Looks artificial.
Arden - "What is this?"
"It is man-made."
"It's reassuring that the saddle is human sized."
Follow that tentacle.
Esium - sized.
Mile across city. 3miles away from city.
Ragnek suggests as a last resort, summong Arch Duke Maloth to resolve the situation.
"You see, you have Morgrim, who is top-chaos-dog on Eldahar. So you have a variety of Chaos Lords all wanting to get to Eldahar, as it is one half of a huge power source. That's why Chaos and Law are so eager to get to us. The Anima and Animus don't just fuel the Idiom, they help fuel the Worlds beyond our Idiom."
"So, we really are at the centre of the Universe."
"There's some weird shit out there."
Remus said - "All the solutions to our problems are on Eldahar."
Ragnek fills Tomorrow completely in on the Entire Ways adventure, including Remus, the Foe, the Nexus of the Ways and everything else; Judge of Renewel and Foundling.
6 hours up....... they are spotted, 18 miles per hr. 90 miles above the ground.
100 miles across.
20 tentacles
descending down into the World.
Humanoid, 6'5", dressed in white, Armoured, Helmeted, gauntleted, cloaked.
Bishop.
Arms of Limbo.... - Bishop's name for Belegod's tentacles.
"My name is Telemakus."
"We are explorers. We are voices, voices that serve the High Olban council."
Ragnek Mentions the name Tharizden - but it has no meaning to Bishop.
Syrene then introduces herself as Ardentia.
Bishop loses some interest in them after Ragnek's bit of name-dropping but is quickly pulled back in by Syrene's noble plea for information and help. "We are in great need of someone with knowledge of this World...." she adds.
Ragnek (Telemakus), Syrene (Ardentia), Tomorrow (Jax) and Arden (Ardella) travel up to the Golden City.
The Golden City has perhaps 60 Metakon, 200 Fuzor's, of varying substance... and perhaps 1000 Servants.
It is a city reserved for those who enjoy the rapture of Belegod's court.
"What you have said, has intrigued us greatly," says Ragnek.
"What does Belegod look like?" asks Ragnek.
The Metakon are very large and all made from metal.
Another entity, silvery scaled skin, human head, with metal piping going into the skull, glistening eyes that seem to contain numbers racing in the pupils, and lights under the beings fingernails - Pupil.
Outskirts, The old city. - "This is where the Metakon used to live, before the coming The Fulcrum."
"What are we gonna do," says Tomorrow, "Lie to it? Or tell it like it is?"
The Metakon have sparks inside various internal partitions.
Bishop enquires how Tomorrow is capable of movement. "Are you a high mind, or are you alive?"
Ragnek shakes Bishop's hand and says goodbye.
Barrel, it contains, moving segments that seem to hover and revolve around it, at different speeds and in different directions. Hub at centre, rings around it, made up of various segments, mile wide, segments expand out around 7 miles.
The Meta Axis.
Meta Yor and Meta Aur.
I am Drummer. 2 wheels, foot and hand wheels.
Eyes on stalks.
Metallic blue and Gold.
"And we are the Meta-four !" says Ragnek.
"We are AURONS"
"We travelled through an aureole,"
"Not to be confused with a clitterole, generally hard to hit," says Ragnek.
Yor and Aur open up the doors and grant them access to inside.
Throne Room - 100 beings inside.
6 moons in red sky - artificial ceiling.
20 - big metal statues.... 40 feet in height, slightly varying in size and very different shape. Some are male, some are female, some are neither, some have huge metal chests, like barrels, others have slim unnatural torsos and wirey like arms and limbs. Some have human like facial features, others have no facial features at all, except cylon eyes, single eyes or flashing lights in the face vizor,
30 beings down
to be Fuzors, humanoid in size, but like Drummer and Bishop they are part
metallic, part flesh.
There's a female,
who seems to have metal running all through her body and has her head positioned
on a metal stalk, 8 inches higher than a normal human's neck.
There's a small Fuzor who is shaped like a Dog, standing on his hind legs.
Female there with 3 eyes, dressed like a Princess, or a Queen, she's wearing a triple banded, crown, abundence of jewelry.
Silver skinned, with big black eyes..... 3' in height.
Menagerie of Races and beings....
Belegod - "Entertain us."
Ragnek - speaks.... "Absolutely, truely, out of this World."
"We are Aurons of Auric Prime," announces Ragnek.
Higher calling - conquest of knowledge and power - strive to understand and adapt. We have seen first hand, the effects of just one power in this Multiverse, and rather than fighting it, we seeks to understand what makes it tick, what makes it work.
Wendle... the Wizard. He has a staff. He is dressed in loose fitting robes... has high forehead, magical sigil branded into his left cheek.
Wobbling jelly - Purple pudding - Various mouths - Called Keg. Ambassador of the Ultimidian Alliance. And a very important Politician of his kind.
Have you ever heard of Solomon? "Can't say I have," Wendle replies.
"Have you ever heard of Triadas?" No, he doesn't. "He fell into a big magical hole many years ago."
Fedas.... Tall man, built like Lurch, Munster. Mistress..... His World was "Angst" - before it was destroyed.
Gillian... Red eyes, looks human.... Curly blonde hair, 5'7". 67 years, or the equivalent. An Artist. "I paint, and I use my imagination to create 3 dimensional pieces of art," she explains. She then speaks on behalf of her Mistress - "Meta Rexa invites you to a Garden party."
Timian - 40's. He has Black hair. He's carrying a wand.... dressed in a suit.... looks like a lawyer. Master of Law. I couldn't - You Law and Chaos.... I find it intrigueing.
Devlin.... Black haired, 5'9", unshaven, shabbily dressed, notebook - ink and quill... looks like a writer.... Hair quite scraggly - Age Mid 30's.
Devlin is a bit mad - He has dreams of far off places and seems to know many things. He has dreamt of Ragnek and Syrene and seen their objects. He knows that they know the Primative - as he calls it. AKA - The Well of Souls. He is searching for the Well of Souls and thinks that Ragnek and Syrene have been there and that they have been sent to test beings to see if they are worthy.
In the Hall of Belegod.
Other people imprisoned / guests of Belegod ;-
Fawst Starring - A Cosmic travelor. Arrived about 1 years ago in his sentient ship - Persephone. Fawst has a long history of saving nations and being an all round hero. Stands 6'3" tall, strong athletic build. Very good looking (COM 21). Dark brown - black hair. T-shirt, a pair of shorts. With a small hovering orb at his shoulder.... My World.
Kanero - A Monk of great Wisdom. Appears about 5'4" and around 50 in age. Has prayer beads.
Professor Vaspar Arturo - A scholar who invented Negative Time. Archetype of a Mad Mage, Shirt hanging out, His trousers are a little too short, show his ankles - Early 40's, little overweight.

Chaste - (pronounced Chast) A dimension shifting young woman who is one of a now deceased race called the Sonin - AKA Black Navigators. The Sonin would navigate ships through Voidal storms and always find a safe passage. 5'9" tall. Dressed in a black body suit with some sort of implant in the left side of her neck. Two other strange features - Mottled tanned skin and complex internal ear structure. Otherwise, all woman. No, we never had a World - we were Nomads.

Trevain of Chaos. Human - Has White hair, Tanned skin, 6' tall, warrior in build, but intelligent about the eyes....
Tomorrow approaches Meta-Rexa - "Ur Hello, we were wondering, what happens next? Where do we go. We've met most of the people here and would like a little time to settle in now before we explore any further."
Meta-Rexa - "GILLIAN WILL SHOW TO YOUR QUARTERS. GO WITH HER. THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF TIME FOR US TO SPEAK FURTHER."
Gillian - "If you'd like to follow me,"
To the Emerald Rooms - V. sparse, no beds, just alcoves in the walls. Commune by holding hands.
Ragnek talks about excorcisng Belegod and the Metakon's from the city by opening his Crown.

Devlin describes the staff.
Off to see Wendle.
Spell - All Knowing spell. - Wendle's people can interpret different magical items.
"Come on, tell me, what's your big ability...?" asks Ragnek of his staff, after learning that all of its other functions may just be minor ones.
20 minutes.
Meta-Kon - Meta-Trax. Shell - Silver armoured Knight - 100% - White Cyber horse. Rides on up to Syrene.
Talk to Trevain.
"Like you think I give a fuck..." "I am sure there will be trouble. Lots of trouble."
Tomorrow has done a bit of spark to spark with Meta Rexa. Tomorrow suggests transforming a lot of raw material into the same unique materials they are already made of - ie unique metals. Then they can negotiate Belegod. After all, according to various people they are talking to, Belegod is only after Elarin's unique metallurgical core.
Trevain is a servant of Meta-Malveria - "Malveria is our resident expert on Interplanal Schisms," explains Meta-Rexa. "But he is seldom actually here. Instead, he prefers to be exploring. I don't know what he finds interesting out there."
Malveria - Travels the most.

Meta Trax - Scans Syrene and says that she has a Meta-kon like spark half and a human half. BorN in space, grown from scrapings of genetic material found by an alien race called the Dak.
How is an Auron born?
Do you have parents ? - No, No I don't says Ragnek. I have a Father of sorts, though hes not around at the moment.
Ragnek makes a beer water gun and shoots lager...
R - I think, in some way, they are linked to a multi-versal power.
Meta - Rorn - sarcastic.
Send Arden back many years into history.
Tomorrow is convinced that the best way of Arden saving her world is to travel back in time with Fawst.
Ragnek experiments with the eye - channel light spell.... out of eye.
It works. He then throws a lightning bolt... but these things do not work down below -
Meta - Rexa...
Metal - Red hair, fibrous, red metal skin, 7'5" tall, human-like musculative, toga of sorts... golden.
They are totally decadent...
Meta - Rexa - striving for new ideas.
"WE are the next new thing, until they get bored or something new comes along..." says Ragnek.

"He's a Time Lord !" declares Ragnek.
The World of Elarin has been altered into a Tech - organic World and the population has migrated away.
We came through
a gate,
Meta-Malvaria offers Ragnek a deal. "If you don't want this World destroyed by Belagod, there is a way. Belagod owes me a favor and I can offer him another World, close enough to satisfy the Devourer's hunger. I would ask for something in return though. I would ask that you leave this World and never return."
The offer seems to good to be true - and perhaps it is ; Ragnek can't help thinking that if they make a link as Ashar wants, between Elarin and Eldahar, Malvaria will have a way to the Source of the Animus.
Luckily Malvaria likes to barter and broker deals. Elarin's Timeline has been drastically altered and he is quite impressed by the results. However,
What weapon has Belegod used on Elarin?
Where did the Elarian's go? "They took flight and left this World long ago...."
So, where did the population go? How did this world get like this?
Perhaps a 1000 years ago.
Back on board.
Sugar cubed tech-organic horse.
Devouring this World for its Magnetic field.... Unique.
Off to converse with Malvaria.

Malvaria travels in Time and lets them go.
Message from Arden - Miriadra's Oracle Nirium... - turned to Living Metal and left at the Gate site in the Caves.
Nirium is hibernating... placed here by Arden many centuries ago.... was not transformed by the Heart Seed like the other Aurons. Been Dreaming ever since.... Giant Spider. (To also be transformed by Ragnek's imprint - implanted by Ashar).
Nirium is transformed....
Nirium has been transformed into a floating, tentacled creature.
Nirium transformed into a Draconian style egg + heart stone.
Tomorrow - touches egg and is transported inside.
Imaginary field
- river appears with a ferry to cross it.
Aurials and Mek-kas. History has completely changed. There were never any Eldar and Chaos has never attacked or entered this Realm.
Ragnek, Syrene and Tomorrow head onto the ferry. But half way across they are caught in a savage current.
"Well, we've done everything we were meant to do... all thats left now is following the arrows. " Syrene then walks towards the ferry.
Tomorrow cannot sense Nirium and is a little concerned. Ragnek just senses a black and white, almost skeletal spiritual surrounding.
Ragnek doesn't want to go back "home", yet feels the pull, "back to hell."
Tomorrow pulls up a daisy from the edge of the river.
Astral cord to keep everyone together.
Stone, Arch, with what appears to two downturned horns, skull, skull is metal - looks like adamantine, is approx 20' across.
Lit road, between
two curtains of shadow, the curtains seem to flicker and sway in some unseen
wind.
Ragnek enters first. Passes into the Realm of Eldahar.
They find themselves standing in the centre of a 1000 foot stone circle. The circle has 12 immense standing stones, tone stones, black, shiny, vibrating slightly, each one, 100 feet in height.
All they can see is stars. Below them, as a floor, a stone circle is made of jigsaw pieces, and each piece is connected togther by contacts, but the gaps between the joins of these contacts, is open space, stars below.
25 feet away, 45 degrees, hemisphere, metal dragon's egg. glowing slightly inside..... with inner warmth.
Standing about 5 feet away from that is a figure.
Jadian - The Guardian - 6'5" - has metallic blue skin, white hair, gleaming blue eyes, like sapphires lit up as well... figure is dressed, male, strong features to the face, is dressed in a kind of scale armour.
40 POW.
Silvery grey, dark gun metal.
Tomorrow. almost transparent, lights moving under his skin.... looks very freakish.
Sundered at the blending.
Sword of the Life-Giver.
Mor-varia.... land of degenerates... Malvaria - Lord of the Mekkas.
Eldren.... Beings of Light who dwelt on Mountain Eldena.
Typhus, Berune, Ghen, Huralayne, Nemir, Gnosis... 12 Worlds - 12 Kindred Lands.
12 High Aurial - Custodians of the Heart Seed. Wisest of which is Horojin - The Aurial of Light.
Ragnek congratulates Jadian on achievement.
Jadian apologises for getting it all wrong and admits that he hasn't heard of Fawst.
How many Aurial? - 25,000.
How many Mekkas? - 25,000.
Land of Sorenoon.
Maybe we would need to travel back to the point that Our Eldahar left its imprint and created this Id in the first place," suggests Syrene. *Note - This might actually work - if done the right way.*
Tomorrow grows angry when he realises what Ashar has done to Nirium and possibly Miriadra. "He's taken away her ability to feel pain, to fear, to give up hope, he's redacted away her humanity and turned her into a simple-minded gate artefact - a glorified, spirit instilled magic item !"
Summoning Nynsagul..... 3 Rings of Weal....
"I Ragnek, Grey Lord of Balancyness.... do hearby summon to this place, the Dwarf, Nynsagul, Nynsagul, Nynsagul...."
Erik, the Hunchback - Dressed as a Jester. 5' tall. Red, Yellow and Green Tunic - patched. He has pointed boots with bells and a pointed hat with bells on.... He also, bracelets on bells on....
He has a big big
nose, Cyrano de Bergerac style. Furrowed, deeply - looks pub ugly, early
forties....
"Ah indigery doo, well met to you. You must be the 3 plus an extra I see."
Eric I be, The Hunchback to thee. Fortuitous we stand, together a band. Tis help that you seek, not a path for the weak, for fire lurks there, at the base of the stair.
Tsk tsk I say twice, things are never just nice. I am here by request, so you'd best make the best.
To the land of steel drum, lets not waste a crumb, the trail leads there, to the Lord of Everwhere...
I know what you seek, I don't need to peak. Blessed am I, with an allseeing stye.
Strong as a bull, dressed like a fool, I can dance so take a chance and lets push to advance."
"A name I not know, nor where he might go."
Tomorrow grabs him in his aura, but Erik slips out of his grasp.
"Let's not start like this, there are parts you might miss, especially your head, when your lying there dead."
"Here's a rhyme from me.... Where's the dwarf,"
"I am the Master of Rhymes, Can't help with these Primes, but I can lead the way, unless you choose to stay."
"I serve the sea, the sky, and me. No one to tell, just sweet bloody hell. Does it matter how, who or what I am, Just accept the fact I am here good man."
"To the land of the steel drum, where even the grass doth hum."
"I am here to lead, but know not the way, Best you do some work or I won't stay."
"You can use your head, I take it you're not dead."
Syrene - "You're a contrary creature."
"I point not north, I point not south, I only lead by word of mouth, Your path is yours and yours alone, yet I will walk it until you're home."
"Do you think he's immune to my sword?" asks Ragnek.
Miri will create a Star Bridge to the Lay Masters.
Leave this cell and grant access to the broader Spectrum of Dream.
Exit to the Lower Realm through standing stones or travel across the Higher Realm using the Lay Masters.
The Lay Masters are beings who live permanently on the Higher Realm, each has a Sphere of Influence.
They are mixed race, some are Aurons, some are Humans, some are Ghenen - similar to humans but stronger.
Eldren built a sky ship and sailed away.
Sun ships - Those were the followers of Minon. There were 5 ships built, they were launched in the Elarin year of 566. Launched to the stars. Minon believed that salvation lay in the stars and that the Secret that the Destroyers were after was out there, not on Elarin. Return to the Birth World - Over ruled by the High Aurials.
Blending of life between Spark and Spirit. The Heart Seed never would have been revived.
Erik - "Come on I tire of this banter, get your legs a moving at a canter."
"Ahhh, at last the bridge, lets nudge an inch. Lead on Ragduff, strutt your stuff."
"I'm sailing the Seven Seas of Sigh..." says Ragnek.
Ragnek takes out of his mind, the Eye of All Hearts and Ithillan's chainmail - He tries changing shape into a High Born but his new form seems to fight off the change and revert back. After a minute he realises he only has 3 distinctly different forms that he can shift into.
"Buy One, Get One Free.... that would make me a BOGOFF - Bitch boy of the Universe," utters Ragnek sarcastically.
Laen longsword....
Cloak not working ; Circlet not working ; Key - Laen sword - doesn't want to transform. Staff still seems to work. Eye of All Hearts still works. And Ithillans chain mail.
Ishmus land, beach head, against a shore of stars. High cliffs of clay rise up above.
Balin - A Ghenin.
"Its like having ur arse talk to you all the time, when all you really want it to do is shit..." says Tomorrow about Ragnek's whinging to Syrene.
"There's no place like Home, wherever you may rome."
Ball of Energy out of forehead = Ragnek's equivalent of a spiritual point.
POW - 1 POW through spirit point.
Lightning -
"Fine fine fine as can be, after being knocked on ones arse by thee."
This Dream Plane is v. thin because no minds fuel it - except the minds of the Lay Masters.
"This Land belongs to Lay Master Forest. The Lay Master invites you to his Dominion," announces the small golden bird.
Lay Master Forest - a Green man, made of plants.
Erik bursts into song.... "There once was a Wizard from Gizzard, Who got lost one day in a blizzard... He got a cold nose that dripped like a hose and spent hours licking it like a lizard."
Trees actually growing out of the water and a layer of sea weed cover it like a carpet... Covered in vines and lichens and mosses.... Sand itself seems to become verdant grass, Plants.... Jungle... Wooden leaves trees forming a natural dome....
Manor on the beach itself, made entirely plants and wood.
"Green as green can be, greener than a snotling be."
Laymaster Goldmoon.
She is a wise and gentle lady - She is an Auron too, like you. Let me suggest you give a her a gift of either song, poetry or story.
Land of Goldmoon - Along the tree trunk.
Bright sun shining - a golden bright sun... Hear running water, waterfall. Shimmer in air directly in front of you...In amongst rocks, up in the mountains... White house sat at the edge of the waterfall... picturesque.
Female being emerges - Beautiful. Fresh faced, young, late teens, vibrant, full of life... her skin is a very natural - golden in tan and colouration, her eyes are bright and blue, her hair is golden and full and past her shoulders, long way down back.... "I am Kryo, Son of Orias, Guardian of the Star Helm; Defense platform for our World from Star-based threats."
Overrule chimes in communication.
"In helping you, by helping the sword Rule and saving Elarin from the beastly bastard, and helping u humans evolve in Aurons, we've managed to completely get ourselves lost."
Kryo describes Ragnek and Syrene as religious icons... "We cannot live a lie, knowing that the World we have saved is the wrong one."
"It would be wrong to lead your civilisation into a world facing armageddon. Inside my heart i have a v severe purpose. I know what is right and wong. although our views may difer. Don't get me wrong, i can put myself into the mind set of auron. Get bond that. Aurons will never evolve if they can't get beyond the idea that this place is not the fictional place that we came from. Not when you worked so hard to make it so perfect as you can."
I have seen so much death and carnage i dont want to add another world to it.
Choose 12 Aurons Companions to be chosen to go back to The Prime.
Syrene proposes this to Over Rule and Kryo.
"And
they cannot be part of the High Aurial Council"
announces Ragnek, not wanting a bunch of stuck up losers getting in the
way of things back home.

Tomorrow
gets a bit wistful, saying how lucky they are that they have each other.
He then gets a bit depressed as he thinks his life belongs to the Doelaw
and he will never have a companion - at least a human like one anyway.

The Tubular belles;
Struck up a crude bargain with Malvaria - Passage off of this Eldahar in return for guarenteed cooperation and assistance by way of Heart Seed in experiments (as long as they don't endager Aurons and Auron way of life)?
T - "We need to make a decision..."
T - "Is there already a world out there worshipping Ragneks?"
T - "What we decide to do here sets the tone for how we are perceived in the Idiom from now into the future."
Syrene - "Do you think Malvaria sent us through this portal so that we could see the consequences of our actions...?"
Ragnek - "Surely this goes against everything the Dragons have taught us about Echos? Aren't we just echo's?"
Tomorrow - "No, I think that only applies to Eldahar."
Tomorrow - "We aren't echo's, this whole world is an Echo."
Syrene - "What are the Short term effects are of us being revealed to the Aurons and the fact that this is not the Home world of Baphma... ?"
Kryo - Short term, The Aurons will debate and hold councils. There will be a devide between those that are fanatically loyal to the Book of the Sword Bearer and to the Decrees of Baphma and those who follow the letter of the Bible of Baphma to a lesser degree. Those ones are the ones who remember the Mystic ways. When as Mystics everyone had an equal place in the Universe and no one was closer to Baphma than anyone else. But obviously, the Loyalist believe that you are the Children of Baphma and that the Council of Aurons has been chosen by Baphma's will.
"In the Short term - There will upheavel. Fierce arguments."
Longer
term - There will a parting of the ways and
possible violence. The Truthers (i.e. Mystics) will break away from the
Loyalists and I expect the council will collapse. The Loyalists will seek
to abandon this world and seek out the Home world of Baphma.
The
Truthers will seek entrance to the Home land again - as it was a decree
of the Auron council that everyone vacate Elarin and travel here because
here was the more Holier land and more in need of Auron guidence. The Truthers
have always resented that decree but have abided by it as it is the Word
of Baphma.
Tomorrow
- "And of course they're all gonna argue over
who gets to keep the Heart Seed."
Tomorrow
- "Ragnek already has a zoo inside his planal
bottle."
Contemplating aggressive action - "A sage once told me that Destroying something is often the result of a lack of imagination..." says Tomorrow.
"Maybe we're over thinking this situation."
Ragnek suggests going down and seeing the Council before making a decision. But Tomorrow speaks up against it and says that it would be just as bad that way. "It's all or nothing."
Syrene is the deal-broker....
Syrene announces to Kryo the decrees of the Children of Baphma.
Ragnek feels "poncy" - making decrees like some "cheap" God.
"If the Council's Faith in Baphma is as strong as we are led to believe, then our will be done."
"They're going to end up in a bottle Ragnek..." mocks Tomorrow, shaking his head sadly.
"That's
where everyone ends up in the end." adds Ragnek,
grinning.
"When
the appointed time comes, we expect them to be ready. Then we will come
for them." adds Syrene, trying to maintain
some semblence of religious decorum.
"I have an urge to do something," mutters Tomorrow, going with his odd Doe-Law inspired interplanal and spiritual instincts.
"Nick
the sword - why didn't I think of that !"
says Ragnek jokingly.
Instead,
Tomorrow injects Aurons (his living artificial cells) into the Over-rule
to transform the sword and the Station into a living Entity.
"The
sword's fine, I've just - enlightened it."
"Take
it easy. Good luck. One day we will meet again, Fate's like that..."
laughs Ragnek. "A fickle tited whore,"
he says privately to himself.
Back in Malvaria's land.
Chasm Tractor is on its way.
1.5 hrs later - The group have returned to Malvaria's Hall.
"Malvaria - We have returned" - says Tomorrow.
Ragnek wants to bait him - "He is now Batty boy - I'm going to have him," thinks Ragnek.
"I warn you, If I ever meet Batty boy again, I will kill him." says Ragnek out loud.
"He's going to turn up like a bad penny in my life. I hate him," Ragnek continues, definitely on one.
Malvaria is an android - with data being transmitted from a broadcast point somewhere nearby - Ragnek sees the signal with the Eye of All Hearts.
ORBITAL LANCE ! Ragnek wants to make a new spell - 1000 sq miles of devastation. Once again he day dreams.
Mishapen beings flee before them as Malvaria's android leads them deep into the bowels of his Kingdom.
Very large metal door. Holes in walls. Stale musty air.
Syrene
is "Minge the Merciless."
- Tomorrow and Ragnek's in-joke about Syrene's serious nature. Syrene doesn't
appreciate the humor.
S.A.R.S - The Society of Alternate Reality Seekers
Ragnek
and his companions have to decide what to do about their creation - Alternate
Eldahar.
Once they have decided and laid down the rules for the Aurons to follow, they can return to Malvaria.
Malvaria leads them down a series of deep passageways, filled with polluted water and scum. At the end they enter a cramped chamber full of dangling cables and are pointed towards an open inspection hatch leading into darkness. "Just crawl in there and keep going... That is the way to SARS. At least, one way, not the only way, but the only way here at the moment..." Malvaria grins.
"If this guy is sending me down some cosmic sewer, I'll not be pleased..." mutters Tomorrow.
Ragnek, Tomorrow and Syrene emerge in a hotel reception room where they are greeted by a non-corporeal hologram that briefs them on the SARS Experience.
They learn of SARS Agents and how SARS works.
Once
they cotton on how to make it back to Eldahar Prime, they are told there
is a problem.
If
they start complaining and demanding to see someone in charge, an Agent
will be called into the building.

foot room. Door with Entrance sign above it.
PK
on the handle to open it. All of Ragnek's items now seem to work.
Room - Wood paneled walls - luxurious carpet, Wooden staircase. Reception desk. Bronze bell on top of it. A signing in book. Chair behind it. A small chamber patitioned off behind it. A single door leading from room to left sign saying to "EXIT". Sofas, coffee table. Right hand side, small bar, stools, plenty of drink behind it. Entrance to a small dining room with 3 chairs arranged around the table. Round table. Tablecloth, plates cutlery...Big grandfather clock - Midnight. Crystal chandelier hanging from ceiling. Decor 1920's.
Hologram appears of the Hotel Manager. Gold watch - stuck on Midnight, danging from breast pocket. Short black hair.
"I
don't want to sign in just yet," says Ragnek.
"You
do need to sign in as a Guest," the manager
states.
Goodbye - Thank you for visiting the Hotel.
Wierdness - Tomorrow opens up the exit, that seems to lead back into the entrance room. They quickly realise they are trapped in this strange room (actually an artificial plane looped back infinitely upon itself.)
Eventually they agree to sign in and accept what the Hotel Manager suggests. Ever shrinking text in book. All 3 sign the book.
"Your departure point to Anywhere.... awaits you," states the Manager.
"Welcome to Hotel Sars, part of the SARS entertainment alternate Reality destination network."
"May your stay in one of our Luxurious self contained and safe Hotels be a pleasant and fulfilling one. Browse Realities at your leisure. Our trained Hotel Management staff will assist you in finding the alternate reality best suited for you."
"Have
you ever wanted to be someone else? Have you ever wanted to live somewhere,
in a different Time, in a different place, in a World almost the same or
completely different than your own? Have you craved adventure, against
impossible odds, Have you ever wanted to be more than yourself, to possess
knowledge, skills and power beyond your current life, One of SARS Reality
Hotels will make that dream possible. Simply browse, choose and exit. A
Universe of possibilities awaits. All guarenteed or your old life back."
Confused by what is happening, the Hotel Manager seems to reboot and appear again behind his desk. "Welcome to the Hotel SARS. If you would like to sign the guest book, we'll get you settled in and choosing a new Reality for you in next to no time."
Ragnek pushes the Manager - "Where's the guarentee. I'm not happy. In fact, we're all not happy. We want to see your boss. Get your boss here now !"
As the Hotel can cater for 99.99% of beings coming through it, the Manager is not equipped to deal with "Guests" that are unable to have their Dreams realised. In this particular case, protocol demands intervention.
The
entrance door opens and a man steps through.
Dressed
in a silvery grey business suit with high necked collar and grey shoes,
the man appears human, 6'1, early 30's with neatly groomed light blonde
hair and a clean shaven face.
"Hello, My name is Sabre. I am a SARS Agent and I'm here to assist you."
"The
Reality you are choosing - the Animus, is a Unique location outside of
our Network. As such, by the terms of our guarentee, I am obligated as
a sworn SARS Agent to assist you in this matter so that you are fully satisfied."
S.A.R.S - Society of Alternate Reality Seekers.
Agents - Travelors between Realities - aka Reality Enforcers. Agents hunt down anomalies that threaten Reality Stability. SARS Agents are also sworn to track down ROGUE Shifters - entities that steal other being's lives and move from one Reality to the next causing Instabilities.
The Network - A complex interconnected mix of Realities spanning Time and Space, accessible by SARS.
Remote Access Terminus - A point between Realities where an Agent can access different Reality layers.
Imprinting
- Where an Agent imprints skills, knowledge and physical appearance current
with local Reality.
Sabre is contacted by his Router - a man called Lance.
"Sabre, I've got a Priority Redirect for you. We have confirmation of a Rogue near your location, just off of the Mezzer-maglean Slipway - Trinity 342-566-004. Designation "Ludo". I know you've been after this one some time."
"Lance, I currently have 3 Guests in charge. Their situation warrents intervention with no set time for completion. Request another Agent attend."
"Negative Sabre. You're the only one close enough. Once this Rogue shifts again, he'll drop off the Slip way. I am contacting Scimitar to attend but he is currently Warzone engaged. Put your Guests on Observe Mode. I am sending coordinates now."
He shifts them as observers to a Reality designated Trinity 342-566-004.
They arrive in an abandoned warehouse with the sounds of a city humming outside.
Sabre gives each of them a small bracelet before hand saying "These will protect you from imprinting - You'll be in Observer mode only, so don't try and interact with anything or anyone around you. Just look and listen. I have a bit of business to attend to."
"I've been tracking a Rogue shifter for some time now. This is a Priority redirect. The Rogue calls himself Ludo. He has to be apprehended."
"What will happen to him once he's caught?"
"He will be BLOCKED from shifting to other Realities and imprinted to a Reality where he can do no harm."
Once
Sabre has caught Ludo in a Slip-Cage,
Ludo will be dimension doored to a Holding Reality pending trial and re-imprintation.
Sabre
will then continue with Ragnek and the others to Elarin - where they can
establish a new Time link.
Sabre
will inform SAR Sequitur of the strangeness around these beings.
Sabre offers to take Ragnek, Tomorrow and Syrene back to Elarin so that they can Bridge back to their Eldahar.
Ragnek - "Why do we need your help?"
"Wouldn't you like to put it on the Network - Ok, it's got its flaws. Its in a bit / a lot of trouble..."
The SARS Network is a creation of structure, where probabilities can be calculated to almost infintessimal accuracy.
"Has Eldahar ever existed on the Network" asks Ragnek.
"No, it has never existed on our Network" says Sabre.
Alarum - World under rule of Titans - "Negative, that name has not existed on the Network either."
"Tanith - Lore, City of the Balance. Visit the Greatest City to Never Exist. Walk among ancient heroes, wizards of wonder and Lords of Creation... Tanith Lore needs artisans and people who are willing to live decent, hard working lives in the pursuit of balance and harmony."
"Tanith - Lore - The War Years. Defend the City that Never Was against Hordes of the Unmade, Minions of the Everfall, Dark Masters of the Midian. Defend the city's walls, fight alongside heroes who have yet to be born... Mingle with the greatest creators and artists of History.... to decide the fate of Mankind."
Tomorrow - Malvaria - Lords of the Metakon. Tomorrow fully briefs Sabre on the situation...
Theoretically - Go back to Elarin, a few months before we first arrived. Divert the Metakon from Elarin and send them somewhere else - or even destroy them, but probably easiest to divert them, save Elarin, establish the anchor and then return to Eldahar....
"They're a great race - really top shelf material..."
Do
we choose Elarin's original evolution or our new one with the Aurons? Do
we choose an anchor to Eldahar or a 1000 years of Auron History and development.
"In order to change the Elarin's, the Metakon
would still have to fire their world whacking weapon..."
says Tomorrow.
"Surely Malvaria is a Rogue?" says Ragnek.
Not if he travels time within his own Reality is the answer. SARS only polices Realities, not Time.
"Arse Injected Death Sentence - We could call ourselves A.I.D.S" says Ragnek.... yeah right.
Light - surrounds and absorbs everyone.
Big wooden crates. Warehouse - high wooden ceiling - hundreds of them, some stacked 10 high, 30 feet...
Water... steam bell - horn....
Wearing - a leather jacket - weapon holstered under arm. And he's got a glasses on....
Spirit in objects around you - sense whats in crates - mostly flour, salt, beef, food stuff....
Air itself contains a very under-developed spirit aura...
Jimmy - u fucking asshole, do you mind - point that pea shooter somewhere else.
It aint no pea shooter- The man who sold to me said it was a killing weapon.
It's gonna kill someone in laughter in minute.
Fuck u
No fuck u
Smuggler - Aura withdrawel...
Blam blam - Sabre fires - Big Jimmy, blasted across the table. Another guy, Called Mitch - shot in the shoulder, spins and falls to the ground. The others - Little Fitch, fires his pea shooter - barrel explodes in his face. Blamblamblamblamblam - Ragnek pushes his POW out and solidifies it - banging the gunman on the back of the Head. His SARS bracelet deactivates...
Ragnek's bracelet vanishes from his wrist.
Little disoriented... Feeling of change.... you feel urself changing.... Ragnek temporarily imprints, his Crown of Power having superceded the protection provided by the SARS bracelet.
Fire every where....
Scimitar
- 7' tall Negro - Dreadlocks - And tatoos on his the sides of his face,
dressed in biker jacket - zipped up at front... Carrying what appears to
be a big silver staff in his hand...
Travel to an alternate Hotel - where an Indian man wearing a Turban welcomes them...
"Greetings Sahib...." says this different hotel manager.
Should we get SARS to create a link via their network ?
Ragnek - "I couldn't change Miriadra into a Dragon egg even if we did go back to Elarin as it was a one use spell - it was so complex I couldn't do it again."
The Inner and Outer Idiom of Reality....
Contemplation
- Tanith Lore....
City
of the Balance....
Ragnek, Tomorrow and Syrene travel with Sabre to Tanin Lorain; The Ivory City - circa 9921 on the World of Terrafell.
Lots
of wise people there. Abundence of Astral energy - similar, but not identical.
When
Solomon is there - + anyone else who have originated from the Prime - most
number possible.
You will have to imprint on that Reality when you arrive. That will mean adapting to that environment.
Ragnek
stresses that he should still be a Wizard - and a powerful one at that.
Syrene
asks that she be powerful, but not ugly.
Tomorrow
that he be powerful, Immensely powerful and undefeated in any battle.
When they step through, they all undergo a Reality conversion ;-
Ragnek
becomes a traveling Priest called Tempus -
Disciple of Time.
Syrene
becomes A phoenix in a cage.. - Last of her kind. She loves that
- NOT. Some hot bird in a cage, just what she wanted. LOL.
Tomorrow
becomes Tanis,
an Incarnation of the Champion of the Balance.
Sabre
becomes a cat alongside Tanis called Ruble.
Referring to his mental faculties still being intact after the shift in Reality, Ragnek describes it as "Keeping the Inner Celler safe, Vintage Ragnek 2617 - What a Year !"
Walking staff....
There are 2 Suns overhead.... One is small yellow sun, the other to the right of it, is about 4 times the size, and blazing red.... lending a slight reddish tinge to the landscape.
The sand all around is red sand.... called Draksas.
Dunes as far as eye can see - no vegetation - no bushes or blades of grass.....
The storm moves on, revealing a city that looks for all intents and purposes to be made of ivory.... Its pale white walls veined with tinges of yellow, Outer wall, is curved, so the entire city seems ovoid in shape. The wall itself is about 80 feet in height. There are battlements and towers that start about 40 feet up and extend out slightly, then rise another 20' - evenly spaced.... The length of the city is approximately 2 miles.
Ragnek wearing grey and white desert garb, you're a staff, you've got pouchbelts, got boots, no 3 rings of weal, no other objects.......
6'2", medium build, Blonde haired, bright eyes - burning bright eyes.... Sword on back.... wrapped up... A bow - composite and expanding, folded over 3 times... archaic... not wearing any armour.... Backpack.... To the right of Tomorrow is a small Black, White and Grey cat.... This cat has a sparkling collar that looks like a bracelet....
R's staff - wooden, plain, unadorned, no markings, white and a bit knobbly... fully lengthed and doesn't appear to be anything in particular to look at look...
2 suns seem to be creating a natural vacuum of energy between their orbits. This vacuum is most apparent where the light of the 2 suns meet - all around and everywhere. Ragnek senses the untapped potential of this vacuum and the energy of the two suns that could be channeled through it. For him, this space is the World's natural equivalent of an astral realm. "Interesting..." he mumbles to himself.
Kaz - Kazaria - Name of the Phoenix Syrene has become.
Tanis'
Sword - Named the Star of Tanith.
Legendary blade that renders the wielder undefeatable in battle. Also known
as the Edge of Eternity.
"Greetings Gate Master..."
Verno - Gate Keeper - sketching an apple.
Ghan - In the Ship Bright - V-Nur-arno.
Lord - Adric - Powerful Lords - Known as the Lords of Morning - 5 of them. They are all extremely powerful. And they were using the Phoenix as a way of channeling power... abusing her... and they deliberately slaughtered the other Phoenix so that she would contain all the energy.... Bitching and fighting over her.
A lot of time and effort has gone into every aspect of the city's architecture...
Neveria - Young woman, well tanned, thin limbed, petite, 5'4. Oval shaped face, dark eyes, dark hair, tied back, wearing a circlet of blue diamond.... Hanging a painting.... G.nah.Cereo.
Early 30's - slightly greying, pale skinned, but healthy, medium build, clean shaven, high forehead, slightly receding hair, blue eyes. Wearing a thick silver necklace, dressed in dark grey tunic, and mauve trousers - v. baggy....
Screwball....
- Ragnek's new name for Ruble (alias Sabre
of SARS).
Amewen Frost - Queen of the Endless Valley."You did the right thing in bringing her here. This is probably the only place where you could find Sanctuary..." says Adric.
Teara Runwin -
Elyr -
Crae -
Faith O'Beau and Misery...
Ragnek
is rarer than "do-do spunk"
- or so says Paul.
Horn of Tanin is missing - Adric goes in search of it...
Adric sends servants out in search of his horn...
"I am so terribly embarrassed by all of this," says Adric.
"Make announcments at the Ivory Ring, the Circle of Bone...." orders Adric. "I need that Horn, the Horn of the City, returned immediately..."
Population
of Tanin Lorain
is currently 434. Braggaf Stoutenhurd
- previous Lord of Tanin Lorain.
Shapeless entities - Golden, Silvery, Blood Red, rusty but metallic, another skylike blue, metallic, Green, metallic.... Stolen from their Temple.
Ameris - Lord of the Golden Dawn - Sarkhunen Knights - encountered about a dozen so far.
Vithras - The Vithring Paladins... Symbols of madness - 75% of people going up against them end up committing suicide first.
Ludak - Lord of the Splintered Sun -
Lomarian - monks haircut... "My Lord Adric - have you lost a shoe horn..."
"History
is a very very important past time for someone like myself,"
says Lomarian. "I am a Historian !"
"Well,
it wouldn't make a very good future would it,"
says Tanis jokingly.
Lomarian leaves to go and look for the Horn - he is quite worried, despite Adric's reassurances that everything will be ok.
"How are we going to help?"
Standing opposite Tempus in Ragnek's mind....
Tomorrow warns Ragnek not to get too close to the image of Tempus. "It symbolises the Tempus persona locked in the depths of your mind. If you step into it, you'll probably swap places and end up taking the back seat yourself."
Ragnek experiences a memory flash from Tempus' past after poking and prodding the supressed Tempus psyche, lodged deep in his mind.
He sees the World through Tempus' eyes as a Young boy - probably 9, with a shaven head and wearing simple robe. Crude shrine or monastery.... Wrinkled aged, really crusty old man... 6' foot white beard, hair growing out of ears.... nose, eyebrows hanging down face, manga style.... Wearing a grey robe.... simple grey sash... 400 years of age... Case, colourful vase....
Tempus is called Little One by the ancient Disciple of Time.
Young One...
There are only certain things yu can do with Time...
Time can be moved - pushed forward, pulled backward, but when you do that, you merely stretch time. In order for time to not be stretched, you have to add or take away portions of time. Any time you add or subtract, something has to be put back again somewhere else.... thus it is important to create empty Time and fill it.
Mechanics of Time....
?What is the link to Time? What gives Tempus the power to feel and manipulate Time as a force ? What gave him this affinity and how and when?
Tanis / Tomorrow - I don't think I've ever been beaten in battle...
Tomorrow experiments and shifts to another Tanith Lore. He begins fading (after closing connection with Ragnek and Syrene). He becomes translucent, arm outstretched and then finally vanishes.
He arrives in Tane Lorn and encounters Yainar, Lord of the City along with his wife, Marion.
Ragnek delves deeper into Tempus' secrets.... One memory is of Tempus - standing in a room full of clocks, all ticking and showing different times. There must be 1000 clocks in this room and its very cluttered. Then a humanoid walks in with a golden helmet with a clock face on front...
Tempus
says "Hello. I'm here to see San - Master
of Temporal Coincidence..."
Black
and Gold hair, one eye is golden, the other is a small clock that is actually
ticking - hands moving....
Ithillan is shocked by suddenly being summoned. He was on his way to breakfast when suddenly he stepped off of the bottom step of some stone stairs and landed in Adric's main Hall.
Ithillan
is quickly sent back by Yainar - "I'll pop
in and see you again some time, now I know what you look like,"
the Painter quips.
Ragnek and his companions talk to Yainar - Ragnek fills him in on Eldahar's problems - drifting off into oblivion - the Void.
"Who told you all of that?" asks Yainar.
"Someone called Avalon, a Servant of the Balance."
Beyond the city, the forces of the Lords of Morning begin to gather. First, Splinters fill the sky - tiny shards of shimmering light that move in clouds. These are in fact creatures broken off of Ludak's very own Sun.
Following these come the Banner bearers, the 5 Heralds who are just floating Standards of shimmering light that speak a hundred tongues.
Then comes the Music - the eerie Orchestra of the Vith Ring Knights.
Ragnek and his companions must decide what to do. Yainar can paint them doors but will not do so without an explaination - after all - they bought the Queen Phoenix there. The Lords of Morning are here because of them !
Tomorrow suggests talking to Sabre.
"We want to get back to Eldahar. What do you suggest?"
Sabre thinks for a moment. "I suggest you pick a place in space and time to meet this Yainar. I then return you to the hotel and then reconstitute you as beings in that place and time. Beings that seek to travel to other Worlds and are about to leave that particular time and place. Beings that (for instance) are not going to make it but instead are going to suffer some terrible, tragic accident. You then occupy them, meet this Yainar and he assists you in returning to Eldahar."
Ragnek and the others return to Sabre's Hotel.
But there's a problem. When they return to the hotel,
Yainar says that he can only really help do things to do with the Eternal City.
Ragnek continues to try and explain Eldahar's situation but gives up as it all gets very convoluted and complex.
"Eldahar is not on my Temporal Radar," Ragnek adds.
Just then a helmeted guard called Kage rushes in - "There are Sun Shards in the sky my Lord."
Tomorrow gathers the companions together and turns to Sabre for help.
"What can this Yainar do?"
Paint pictures and bring them to life. Paint doorways that go almost anywhere and paint people / objects and summon them to him.
"Ok, what if.... ?," Tanis suggests, "Yainar summoned us?" Would we come and if we did, from what time would we arrive? Would we be ourselves or other beings pretending to be us?"
When beings travel between worlds and something goes wrong, opportunities present themselves.
Syrene suggests that Yainar open up a door directly into a SARS hotel. But when he tries this, he finds that he can't - "This location must be protected by powerful magics," he states. "Sometimes areas of great magic prevent my doors from forming."
Tomorrow spins a yarn, trying to convince Yainar to travel and fetch their original selves from fiery doom. "They (meaning himself, Ragnek and Syrene) are Missionaries of the Balance, lost and in need of guidance. No matter what happens here, in Tanin Lorain, will you promise me, by my sacred birthright and the sword of my ancestors, that you will journey to this appointed place and do everything in your power to help them?"
Ragnek, Syrene, Tomorrow.
First Wave....

Sabre
is contacted by an Asian woman - Called "Javelin." She warns him that a
series of "disturbances" are being seen in his wake. Sabre knows that he
has to ditch Ragnek and the others as soon as possible.
World
of Arim - Heat, fire, the sky is actually
burning, great big waves, like liquid oil streak across the sky and erupt
in fireballs miles across.... then you see fire rain falling down, you
see fireballs / meteors falling to a barren crator filled landscape and
exploding violently... the ground is shaking from earth tremors and by
the looks of the complete of vegetation and upheavel the landscape, severe
earthquakes have been hitting this region... in the sky, you see two moons....
Ragnek
- A tall man, 7" tall, heavy build, rock skin.
Tomorrow - Man - Bald headed, pale skinned, big saucer like eyes, dressed in rags, carrying a lantern, currently on knees, with red lips and red rimmed eyes.
There's another man, small, dwarf like, rock like skin, red tinged, no hair, carrying a back pack.
Armored
man - The armour is pure white, storm trooper white, and 100% armour, like
a Stormtrooper.... The being has a sword hilt, without a blade on a belt
and a small glass buckler shield attached to his other arm....
A gentle breeze blows past as the hallway is open to the air and a kind of Japenese garden on one side. The 20 suits of armour... suit no. 7 is missing as he has it on - seem different in style and spectacular in design.
Yainar is currently wearing phase armour. He steps out of it and it walks off back to its rack.
Yainar's fish collection - the "6 Shot Fish Repeater." The Language fish. The lightning Fish - aka "Flash Fin," and the Fire Fish, aka "Flaming Flooma."
Yainar escorts them to 3 guest rooms and leaves them for an hour to bathe and relax before inviting them through to meet his wife and discuss their situation. During the wait Tomorrow reads bits of a few novels.
Syrene, opens up the guest wardrobes and tries on some of the clothes; Vanity is definitely her regular sin.
Ragnek
spots the "Tanin Times...."
- A daily publication about all things Tanin.
The
Headline on this edition - Dated Friendsday... reads "Saknash
the Black calls for a vote on whether the Grand Hall should have an extra
floor of seating.."
Group
of actors called the Brethren
- Who are planning a World Tour - plan a quick hop and stop to 6 local
Worlds to spread the Tale of Taninsula,
Island of Lost Tears. Operatic - epic.
Told in 6 parts.
After Ragnek has had a bath and some wine and the others are relaxed as well, they head on through to meet Marion and Yainar.
Marion - 5'6", Brunette haired, curly, green eyed, pale complexion and petite frame.
Yainar - "We've been Lord and Lady now for 97 years."
Thier World is Tanith Lore - It lies at the end of a Tunnel of Reality.... Called the Penumbrum - a place of overlapping echoes. Chaos Lords turned several Worlds inside out so that they could create a Multi-dimensional Highway through the Universe for their Servants to travel. But Yainar and Marion prevented the Tunnel from being completed by moving their particular Eternal City directly into the path of the road; Chaos suddenly found that their great road only led to the Eternal City and got pretty mad. Yainar skips their part in moving the city, just saying "This Tanith Lore was important to Chaos due to its location in Space and Time."
Yainar disappears and returns with an old painted doorway, signed "Eldahar - Caer Rune."
But when he opens it, he just gets darkness filled with howling scary noises.... and wind.... energy draining wind...
The door opens into the year 2700 - as the picture advances on a one to one time ratio from the time it was painted.
Yainar smiles. "Don't worry. I'll just paint a new one." After 10 minutes of frantic sketching and slapping on of paint - Yainar is after all, the greatest and fastest painter to ever live, he has a new door. However this door to Caer Rune also opens onto Void.
Ragnek says that Eldahar is drifting away - But Chaos seems to have a link to Eldahar. This link could be the way to reach Eldahar.
Next,
upon Ragnek's suggestion, Yainar paints a door to King North and his sword
Need + plus.
