![]() +15% +4 / +4 Deed is a sentient sword, possessing the spirits of two opposing intelligences. The first is very pious, kind, wise and dedicated to peace, healing and good deeds. The second is a malicious, calculating, whining amateur dramatist who lies continuously, boasts it's anything from a trapped divinity to fallen angel (set up of course). These two personalities co-exist in the sword but only one is in dominance at any time. When one is "awake", the other is completely unaware what the other is doing. Deed
is a very powerful and versatile sword with multiple abilities based on
which personality is in charge.
Whereas
"Good" Deed cares for it's wielder, "Bad" Deed just wants to use it's powers
at every opportunity.

A two handed sword forged by the Black Elf - Benel Joshu, Sera Castarule has one main magical function; delayed wounding. +8% to hit and +2 / +1 per critical, it isn't much of a weapon, but every wound it inflicts can be delayed from taking effect indefinitely. Example 1 Benel cuts the head off of one of his followers. The sword passes through the man's neck but doesn't seem to do any real damage, though anyone viewing the follower magically would see a glowing line across the man's neck. Benel then lets the man go on his way. A year later, Benel hears that the follower has betrayed him. He grasps the sword and remembers the wound, willing it to take place. The man, a 1000 miles away in an inn, suddenly loses his head. Sera Castarule's wounds are the equivalent of a 12th level spell, but can't be removed by anything less than 18th level. The
sword can inflict any number of delayed wounds on any number of targets.

"Our land, our king and those who serve the Destiny of Elond are bound to Need"
Also known as Paeon, Need was forged in 1212 by the Will of the World. Bathed in the Eternal flame itself and linked directly to World's Heart, Need has to be the greatest indigenous sword to ever appear on Eldahar. Soloman the great claimed to have made it, but if the truth be known, Need was forged from Necessity by the World mind itself. No Wizard or Enchanter could ever hope to match Need's strength of purpose with mere metals and craft. No, Need is as close to Eldahar as Baphomet or Orion. Also known as "The Tool of Destiny" or "Sword of Heaven / Elond", Need appears as a plain, but perfectly crafted sword. 4'6" in length with a slightly red tinged steel blade, it bares a huge blue diamond as its capstone - a stone deemed priceless and unique called the King Stone. Stats ;- 2d6 dmg, +25% to hit, +6 / +6 dmg per
critical and +200% to save vs shatter.
Immunity to detection
IV 21st level.
In addition to the above, Need uses
its own method of spell casting - called Do magic.
Each day - 30
levels of spells from 1st to 5th level.
Each spell is automatically x 5 range and radius if required at no extra cost. Need can also resurrect any previous wielder (i.e. King) for one year and a day. During the Campaign of 2600, North called up all of the old Kings and Queen's of Esia to help him on his quest ! Its owners to
date have been ;-
Also see Prophecy of Need Note - From 2602 to 2617, North continues fighting Chaos on the parallel Eldahar. Need is instrumental in keeping humanity alive and free during these very difficult times. Need creates the Fortress of Sanctuary and expands its spell casting abilities (as the World sees fit to grant) so that it and North's allies, become the only things keeping Chaos at bay. |
![]() +20% +3/+3 (3d6) vs everything other than Dragons and Chaos - Against Dragons, Black Bone becomes +40% (seeking) +6 / +6 and delivers x 2 total damage ! All wounds against dragons are agravated (x50 healing) and double bleeding per round. Dragon armor cover is also reduced by 40% on all body locations making them easier to hit and hurt. The sword itself is a long, slim, two handed sword of black ivory. A bit like a huge living bone (or toothpick). Upon its bony hilt lie several tumorous growths. Whenever a different colored dragon is slain, a horn sprouts from one these growths, rendering the wielder temporarily immune to that color of that dragon's special attack (i.e. breath weapon). For
slaying a normal dragon, the horn that sprouts from the blade protects
but once.
Like many swords of its ilk, Black Bone's powers can fluctuate depending on circumstance and wielder. Other reported abilities of Black Bone are ;- +6/+3 vs Chaos. Return / Summon directly to chosen wielder's hand and weight fluctuation - i.e. Sword can become very light or extremely heavy (adding a futher 3d6 to 1 in 3 attacks). |
![]() Legend says that Kane's woodland Goddess Weycha snapped off one of her branches; when the branch hit the ground it became a blade by which she could smite her enemies - the Suraanese Empire. In woodland the sword is
+30% +6/+6, otherwise it is a blunt and unwieldy +0% -2/-2.
Made from "Motherwood", if the sword ever snaps, it can be reformed by touching the parts together again. Only Dragon fire can destroy Weycha or Weycha's Motherwood. |
![]() The Blue sword of Law exists in a slightly different variant on most Worlds contested for by Law and Chaos. It is a symbol of Law's purity of thought and purpose; often called "The Mind Sword", the Blue sword of Law has been responsible for the fall of many Chaos Lords. When the sword is inflamed with Blue flame, many of its abilities reach beyond its home plane. As a downside, flaming the sword attracts beings from beyond the wielder's homeworld. On Eldahar, the sword's specifications are ;- +15% +3/+3 vs everything other
than Chaos.

An extremely sharp dagger created by Ischandi the Wise, Sunder Heart got its name of Yailin Shekne (meaning Troll Bane) when the Wise killed Tumark - Lord of the Ice Trolls in 1567. A +15% +6 /+6, 8" long blade (a rarity in itself), Sunder Heart also adds +15% to any ritual involving a knife or dagger. It's wounds are the equivalent of "holy" and effect all creatures, magical or otherwise. It's damage dice is d6, (impale on a 4,5,6) and it can adjust the wound roll against any target by +/- 10% (whichever is the most favorable). |
![]() A +30% +6/+6 blade of blackest Mordarkian steel, Mourn contains a particularly hungry Chaos demon called Melfruselah. Bound within the blade by Ischandi back in the 11th century, Melfruselah consumes the soul of anything it cuts (even nicks or scratches). Inflicting 3d6 + strength bonus + criticals in solid, spirit consuming POW damage, Mourn can potentially kill a dragon in any single blow! Ischandi created Mourn in order to better understand the power of Chaos and defeat it. Binding Melfruselah took the Eternal Father 11 days of non-stop struggle. Then, rather than let Mourn go to waste, Ischandi used the demonic blade to try and consume the soul of Savar of the Anu'taka. Then after using it to destroy the Grand Earth Elemental Menesteen and consume the soul of the dragon Wayrath, Ischandi realized just how currupting the blade was and hid it away until the time of the Evermore War in 2601. |

+4 / +4 dmg and x 2 number of criticals vs spirits / undead or demons.
Destroys
any undead upon touch at 18th level intensity.
Anyone holding Woethorn cannot die ! If they do receive fatal injury, they are immediately transformed into a Lich. The only drawback is they can't exist beyond 50 feet of the blade. The Lich cannot be slain or damaged in any way (but can be stunned), whilst they hold Woethorn in their grasp. If in the eventuality they are slain (a thing that shouldn't happen unless seperated from the sword), the wielder is transformed again into another even more nasty type of undead... probably a new unique type. Imagine the horror on your player's faces. Of course this new type of undead will be shortlived, because it probably won't have Woethorn. However, all of the above are just "extras" to Woethorn's main purpose; the creation of Spirit's of Akilla. If a priest or priestess of Akilla (or chosen of another spirit of Akilla) wields the sword, they do not become Lich's upon death, but transform into a new Spirit House. Woethorn is perhaps the only way the Spirit's of Akilla can increase their numbers. Because of this, it is deemed a Holy Sword. |

Another sword created by Ischandi the Wise, Skoe Fell was forged in 1767 to combat the rise of other "pretend" Wise in the northlands. Like many of Ischandi's items it proved too dangerous to leave around for long as it was just as effective against his own Wise. A +10% +2/+2 steel broad sword, Skoe Fell (roughly translated as "Evil Story") disrupts a being's ability to channel magic. Whenever the sword comes within a magic user (or even a magical being's) proximity (i.e. within 10'), the sword reduces that being's chance of successfully activating a magical power or spell casting by 25%. If Skoe Fell actually wounds the being, the sword poisons the mage / creature's pool of power, making it virtually impossible to work magic of any kind (-80%). There is no save against Skoe Fell's spiritual poison; the being must be able to completely cleanse it's spirit. Most people cleanse their POW every 10 days, some in less time. |
"Feasûl" Spirit Wind is a sword in two parts;- the first part is an alaen blade of the highest quality, forged by the Elves of Alinor in the year 766. The second part is a fragment of the Dragon Baphomet's spirit infused within the blade. The sword itself is +20% to hit (very finely balanced) and +5 / +5 per criticals. It is slightly longer than a longsword with a thinner blade. Designed to be a thing of beauty rather than practicality, it still does the job well enough. How a fragment
of Baphomet's spirit came to be in the blade is another thing entirely.
It's very hard to describe how Baphomet must have felt, seeing the world he created torn apart by jealousy and hatred. No Dragon has felt anything close to it ever since. When Baphomet's own, unbreakable Heartstone shattered, many of the greatest and wisest beings of the time believed this act to be the catalyst that allowed Orion to break the Heartstone of the World. If that is true then Baphomet's misery has been the fundamental driving force behind Eldahar's last 2400 of history, not Orion's. Whatever the case, Baphomet's Heart shattered into a hundred shards. Some embedded themselves in Eskanu's hide while others scattered hundreds of miles in the explosion. As with any Dragon's Heart, Baphomet's still contained his soul, but a soul now divided. The largest piece of shard (about 3 inches long) landed in Alinor and found it's way to the elven palace. Once there it became an object of great speculation as no one had ever seen a shard like it. Even broken and greatly diminished, the shard pulsed with the spirit of something powerful - so powerful in fact that only one smith would touch it. At the time, Athendil was working on a sword for the elven Prince Ciriant and wanted to make it something special and unique. Magic at this time was rare and simplistic - none of the Great swords of Solomon or Ischandi existed yet, so Athendil was pioneering a new field of enchantment when he seamlessly embedded the "indestructable" shard into his new blade. At first nothing out of the ordinary occured. Then after several days, the spirit of the Shard became indistinguishable from that of the blade. Ciriant never got the sword as by then he already had one from the Eldar, but Athendil did give it to Ciriant's best friend, Cartanis of the Legion. It was only years later that Cartanis discovered, quite by accident, the shard's strange power. Battling the Morlord's of Evermore during the invasion of 1050, Cartanis saw his friend Ciriant brutally slain after a valiant defence on the Bridge of Tears. Then witnessing the destruction of his forest home around him and overcome with grief and rage(similar to how Baphomet had felt), Cartanis unknowingly invoked Baphomet's last breath!
The Shard of Baphomet 1 / month - Summon "The Cleansing Wind" - Baphomet's breath weapon. Takes 1 minute
to invoke.
The wind carries
a spirit 1 mile for every 1% they failed to save by.

![]() +15% +2 / +1 A slim, lightweight longsword with simple crosspiece and unadorned hilt, Life-bringer doesn't catch the eye in any way. The blade itself is quite blunt and more likely to do concussion damage than cut or slash. However it was never designed to be a sword of war, but a sword of healing. A sword of healing? Nah, what a stupid idea. But listen. The power of life-bringer is this. It can literally remove any wound (except beheading - he's a goner, face it) and store the wound inside itself for an unlimited duration. However, for another wound to be absorbed, the first one must be released; there's only room for one wound in the blade at any time. Example 1 Adunathel saves the life of a warrior who has just had his guts sliced open. She lays the blade across his stomach and it absorbs the 23 hp, 245% wound. Two days later she is attacked in an alley. She hits one of the muggers and tries releasing the wound. The mugger's natural magic resistance has to fend off a 12th level attack. When he fails, he takes 23 hits to his abdomen regardless of any armor or magical protection. Example 2 Adunthel has to heal a woman but her sword has a lethal wound in it already. She searches around and finds a rat nearby. The 45 hp wound devastates the rodant. Example 3 Imagine healing a dragon or a giant? The size of the wound would prove lethal to any lesser being - equivalent to a "Death spell". Life-bringer has been used and abused down through the centuries. It was made in 1123 by the elven smith Tath-wendel, then stolen by humans in 1550. The humans used it as a religious item, hanging it above their altars. |

Forged by the Ice Fey of Louhri's kingdom, legends say Wayshard was once one of the stalactities in the dragon, Essa Dalmox's lair. In 1343 when the Lord of the Ice Fey, Lord Kimeral wanted revenge against his enemies he went to speak with the Ancient Ice dragon beneath Louhri's mountain. Essa Dalmox is said to have breathed upon a shard of ice, infusing her spirit into its substance. ![]() Wayshard appears to be made of a single piece of wickedly crafted opaque ice and almost 9" in length from hilt to tip. At +10% to hit and +2/+2 damage it wouldn't impress too many warriors with its balance or sharpness. But Wayshard does have one interesting ability. Anything struck by the dagger is phased 10' (save vs 10th level each strike) in a random direction... up, down, back etc etc. If the target is standing on solid ground or against a wall, phasing in certain directions means instant death! |

Lifted straight out of the fantasy film "Krull", this is a devastating weapon. The origin of this strange 3 bladed item is in dispute. Some say Solomon forged it, while others say it came straight from the Gods and is a holy artifact. It's real origin however is a lot further away. Originally from the Homeland world of Yanosaan, when it entered the Heartstone of Eldahar it became empowered by the belief of the Suraanese people with potent powers. In the year 101 however, the Triskelle disappeared on a battlefield and didn't surface again until 1880. Passed down from generation to generation in a simple Daasin family, it was sold as an heirloom to an old scholar called Geovanus. From Geo it eventually fell into the hands of a priest called Latinus and then from Latinus into a young warrior's possession called Dagnoth. 1890
- Dagnoth uses it to help drive the Suraanese back north.
The Triskelle of Dagnoth Can only be used by 1 in 10 people. It's magic is very finely tuned and keyed to only work safely with certain auras. Anyone can throw it, but if they're not attuned, when it returns it will slice right through them. Has
a 150 foot range.
As a person's skill ranks in the Triskelle increase, so does their power to control it. At

Dower "the Dire" was a pretty useless enchanter in Elandia during the 17th century who in his entire lifetime created only one item, the Grey cloak. Infamous for failed items and many a drunken boast along the lines of "You'll all get yours when I'm big and powerful", Dower lived a lonely wretched existence bent on manufacturing an artefact, any artefact. Whilst visiting an alchemist friend, Dower accidently spilt a concoction of chemicals on his nice new red cloak. When he got back home he tried removing the stain but found it resistent to all his efforts. In fact, the stain spread across the fabric, leaving it a dull grey in color. Several days later he noticed something peculiar about it. After getting splashed by a passing wagon and covered in mud, the cloak remained grey and clean. Further experiments showed one side of it was resistent to dirt, water, fire and cutting. When he ran back to the alchemist to get the formula for the concoction he found out the poor fellow had died after blowing his house up. Grey

Made by the Platinum Dragon King Baphomet, most ancient and wise of all dragon-kind, the Heartstone of Eldahar is exactly what it says - The Heart of Eldahar. Everything in Eldahar exists within the Heartstone. The Heartstone itself exists in the void as a great glowing gemstone. In essence, the Heartstone contains a giant mind, with an imagination and memory - The World Mind. Everything in the world exists as part of this mind, contributing to it's existence and vice versa. Note - This Heartstone is not to be confused with the Heartstone created by Orion to combat the Titans. Orion's Heartstone was his own attempt at manifesting the power of the World Mind into a material object. It just so happens that Orion saw the truth of Eldahar's existance and duplicated its form in his own creation. Example - If more than half the conscious beings (human / animal etc) in Eldahar suddenly believed the sun wouldn't rise one morning, then the World mind would believe it too and the sun wouldn't rise. It's that simple. If enough people believe in a God of the Sun, then one will exist; the God's powers based on that belief. When there were
hardly any minds contributing to the World Mind - back in the days when
Baphomet and his dragons had the World to themselves, Baphomet could reshape
continents as he pleased. But when the number of conscious beings effecting
the World Mind grew, Baphomet's powers grew more restricted.

![]() Baphomet needed something to give him an edge over the rest of his kind. He didn't want other dragons destroying the Heartstone, Eldahar or anything he created. So after reshaping the Heartstone, he used the parts left over to make 7 smaller hearts / stars and bound them all onto a ring of light. This became known as the Seven Fold Crown and when he wore it, they called him the Dragon King. Each star bestowed influence over the World Mind of Eldahar, so in his wisdom, rather than keep the power all to himself, he gave 5 of the 7 stars to other dragons; the greatest and wisest of their kind and colour. These five became known as the Titans. 2617 - Rumours among the elite and most powerful of Eldahar's denizens hint at Ischandi the White guarding the 7 pieces of the Dragon Crown. Jacune's Prophecy hints that each Star has become a Crown that has been allocated to the Humanoid races; The Crown of the Sun and Moon, Night and Stars, Dawn and Dusk and finally the Crown of Time. In early 2617, Ragnek Stormcrow and Syrene the Enchantress - Witch King and Witch Queen of the God Arun, penetrate deep into the Vale of Night, to the very edge of the Chasm of Night. Ragnek eases his way in, passing through thousands of inter dimensional fissures that renders him totally defenceless against the Jixiliah Trokalesk that dwells in the Void. Ragnek uses the Dagger Ion - Dagger of Life - to paralyse the Jixiliah and seize the Crown. But by seizing the Crown, Ragnek awakens the Dragons of the World and sets in motion the Prophecy of the Dragon King. Events now move beyond Ischandi's control. Shared Abilities
of the Crowns (with each possessing its own unique functions)
Note - The basic premise of the Crowns is this ;- It is very easy to will something about yourself (i.e. a change or to resist something). The Crown makes things easier to learn and execute. |

Tatun-na was an ancient white dragon. Legend's say he lived on the moon in a grandiose temple, flying back to Eldahar on the nights of the full-moon to see his favorite "children." On one such night, Tatun-na happened upon Eskanu and other rebellious dragons, plotting to overthrow Baphomet. Eskanu sensed Tatun-na and flew up to meet him. They battled, but Tatun-na proved no match against Eskanu. His horn was torn from his head as he fled, mortally wounded to his moon sanctuary. Legends say, that night the moon ran red with Tatun-na's blood. The horn fell into another dragon's claws but was passed onto a spiritual explorer called Celanne. Years later, a Priestess of Stars called Shiene, stumbled upon it again, which opened up a portal to the Temple of the Moonrise. The horn immediately became known as a Moon artifact, dedicated to the Moon Goddess Luna. Description -
A white dragon's horn, 6' in length.
The Moon Plane A plane of reality existing within the Heartstone of Eldahar. It appears as an island floating in space, surrounded by stars. In the background, an immense moon hovers on the horizon, illuminating everywhere in silvery light. The island is
approximately 1000 feet by 1000 feet.

Classified as a "Holy" artifact, the Scabbard of Saints is exactly what it says, a scabbard. Made from the hide of an unknown creature, it appears to be white with a feint glow. When placed over a blade between 1 to 7 feet in length, the scabbard shrinks or grows to fit. It then becomes virtually undetectable. Once in place though, it bestows the following. +50% to the blade's saves versus fire, cold, lightning or dispel magic. Makes the blade cut at +4 / +4 to criticals, regardless of what it did originally. ie, if it was +5 / +5 it's now +4 / +4 as long as the scabbard is in place. It also allows the blade to strike spirits or magic, but doesn't allow the wielder to see such. The scabbard can only be destroyed when it is "removed" from a blade and in it's natural state. Even then it can withstand 200 hits of magical damage before being destroyed. It can recover 5 hits a week due to it's potent enchantment. |
