A heavily accented version of Han with shortened words and broader meanings that came about through sailors having to shout through fog ! Spoken only in Cos and it's isles, where it fails, their written language takes off. Cosian is a highly complex and descriptive script making Cos renowned for its writings. Reading it aloud is a problem though as most people couldn't understand it. |

Again, an accented version of Han, but this time with a slant towards insults. The Malharand's are said to have fifty times more words in their tongue to insult someone than anyone else. Han Gok also leans towards battle speech with many words and phrases used in skirmishes filtering their way into more normal society. Listening to a Malharan trying to buy a loaf of bread, you would think the baker had killed his whole family, slept with his dog and then invaded half of Elandia ! |
| Broken Mane | Spoken primarily by giants, Broken Mane is Mane without any linking words like "and", "at" and "to". Hence a typical sentence would be "Hurak kill Golek" or "Hurak sleep, wake dawn, eat man, kill lots." |
| Sea Chant | The chanting tongue of the pirates of Gordakar ;- Little more than a glorified collection of battle hymns, battle songs and badly sung prayers to the sea, it also tends to be sung in the same key and pitch. Many have accused the Gors of being the worst singers alive, but to the Gor's, their Sea Chant is deeply meaningful and meant to be sung that way. Why sing like a girl when you're off to invade somewhere? |
