The Prophecy of Need

An overly complicated prophecy that not even the GM could understand, the Prophecy of Need essentially told the epic journey of the hero 'North' in cryptic form.

In the Great Upheaval the god's did fall to earth and where they raged in battle mountains fell and seas arose to drown the land. In the Seven days of Unmaking the world was broken. But the eighth and final day never came for the Gods of Consequence turned back creation and worked hard upon the seven days of remaking. Thus came the Covenant of Law, spoken upon the mountain by the Sister and bound within the Arkysancture of time memorial. The Covenant shall be one-fold in the task, two-fold in the keeping and three-fold in the breaking.

And a King unto himself shall be born in the shadowed Land destined to bind the broken ones to the Time of Change and found a new age.

Lo will they come ; The Unsung ; as before but not, on the winds of change, bound to the wheel. What was given shall be taken, felling the First Covenant, but rising again. And when the World looks beyond the Kingdom, so shall Oblivion be salvation when the World is blinded. The Fire's of the~Sister will burn bright on the Mountain. All will be Unwrought and Undone, Made new but Unsung. Let the World be Named anew and the Song be sung.

The King unto Himself shall know his Doom and share it with three Queens. The Queen of Exiles, The Queen after Time, and the Queen of Queens.

The Purpose shall bind the Faithful, one and all. And they shall give themselves when the Need arises as Chosen Companions against the Rising.

Prophecy of the Sister

A second prophecy foretelling the actions of North's friend Bran the Aidin and the rediscovery of Arkynlore.

The land is bereft of its soul and destined to fall. For it was spoken in the age of legends that when barriers are sundered and ruin rises in the Hall of Truth, the land will know fear and fear's sister.

The Prophecy of Jacune

A prophecy about the Dragon Crowns of Power and the end of days.

Seven tasks are Jecune's decree,
To be met before the end of the Long Night,
All broken faiths must be remade,
Six crowns must be reforged,
Sun, Moon, Dawn, Dusk, Night and Stars.
Time's crown must be made, then unmade,
The Wounded Lands must be healed,
The Sky must Fall and throw back the World,
Creation long slept must be reawakened,
The Shadow of the blind day must be burned

The Onxy'Cata

The Black Book of Spirits. Written by Carthaze Dark of the Pentacle in 1920 after years of extensive research into various Entropy / Chaos related spirits and anomalies lurking on the astral plane. Rumoured to contain the True Names of several powerful demons as well as a complete list of Spirits of Cairis and brief details of their origins.

The Book of the Damned

Also known in its copied and incomplete forms as the Carnabrium of the Dead. The Book of the Damned is an ancient text that has gone by several names down through the centuries and appeared in several different forms and translations;- The Beradden Codex, the Combined Scrolls of Abaddon, the Book of Undead, the Carnabrium of the Dead, the Scrolls of Absolution and the Scrolls of the Triumvirate. Besides dealing with various undead rituals and spells the Book of the Damned contains a group of rituals at the back (missing from all other copies) that are tremendously powerful. They are;- Create Greater Undead, Ascension of the 3 (to Undead Lord status) and the ritual entitled Undead Realm. The Book of the Damned and its almost as powerful but slightly incomplete copies, namely the Carnabrium of the Dead, have been responsible for a lot of trouble in the country of Esium over the years. Aside from making Makailla and her two fellow undead Lords it was also used to turn Laylak and his traitorous Lords into Wraiths as well as raise Laylak's undead army that decimated Esium in the year 2600.
