Born in the land of Daya, Alyx's mother died in childbirth. Her father, convinced that Alyx was somehow responsible had no need for a daughter and left her to die on a nearby hill top. However her cries did not go unanswered; one of the Sisters of Sorrow happened to be foraging in the area and came to the baby's rescue. The
Sisters of Sorrow
She traveled as fast as she could but it was already too late. Men of Ungmar, led by a Sorceror called Kurakal, had invaded the isle through stealth of magic and slaughtered everyone. With no one else to turn to, Alyx knew it wasdown to her and her alone. She resolved to find the Sorceror, kill him, kill all his servants and reclaim the Holy sword - She would have vengeance ! Her journey brought her into the company of a Wizard called Naschu the Red - a fire mage of great destructive power. Naschu seemed trustworthy so Alyx confided about the sorceror and his Ungmarian allies, but not the sword. It was enough to stoke the Wizard's fires. The Wizard soon gathered a party of stalwart heroes, ready to face the sorcerer in his very lair; a land of living ghouls with transparent skin. The ghouls had fallen foul of the sorcerers power, their prince already banished and their temple defiled. But Naschu had found Guildencrantz - Prince of the Ghouls and told him of the horror in his homeland. Guildencrantz rushed back to his people with the Wizard, Alyx and the other heroes by his side. But little did they know, Kurakal had a master - The Titan Dragon Eskanu. Kaylay of Berle, Sebastian Brook, Mathias Winterborn, Guildencrantz, Alyx and Naschu all stormed the sorcerer's lair but failed to stop him. When they did kill him the sword Woethorn brought him back as a Wraith Lich and the skull of Eskanu, seeking to resurrect itself with new flesh, dominated the entire group bringing causing them to kill each other. Alyx was the only one to survive, plummeting down a gorge out of Eskanu's range and breaking her leg. She managed to heal herself and sneak away but it took her a very long time to come to terms with her failure. She wandered Daya like a vision of death, watching as Kurakal led his Ungmarian horde across the plains, slaughtering village, town and city of Gost Iren. She knew his power came from the sword of her Goddess but was powerless to stop him. Like a spider she waited for chance to fall into her hands. Eventually it did. Alyx encountered the High Doman of Wan and in the young boy (who she began to love as a brother) she found the same devotion, the same pain and loss. Together they forged an inseparable team in the fight against Laylak, Kurakal and Eskanu, preserving both their religions and faiths. |

Bard of the World Song Even
as a little girl, Beth loved music. She was raised to sing in a choir at
the local church to Miah. There she excelled at solo's and dreamed of growing
up to be a famous bard. However dreams sometimes are not meant to be. Her
parents both grew sick and she dedicated all of her time to caring for
them. She studied as a nurse at the Temple to Rian, even toying with the
idea of being a priestess.
She eventually settled back in Esia at the city of Esium. There she made friends with Adunathel and Tess Hardy the Enchantress. Being a bunch of adventurous girls of like mind, they formed The Sisterhood of Magic and began their rise to infamy. It was through the Sisterhood that Beth met Benedict Thorfin, the cursed brother of Laylan Thorfin (alias Laylak the Wraith King). She fell in love with Ben and dedicated the rest of her life to keeping him alive. He in turn allowed her to indulge her passion for singing and unleash the hidden talent within her. She had always heard fragments of song in her dreams and everyday life. Now she began to understand the power of the World song. Singing

Bearer of the Flute of Shandar Father
- Mekhailo Khazarad;
Master Inventor to the King.
Mother - Lady Isendara - Cousin to Queen Shel of Shandaria. Brief description of
Shandaria
Ankha was born in the year 184 in the then small province of Shandaria (later called Shandar). As the prodigal daughter of Mekhailo Khazarad (a noble of the palace) Ankha wanted for nothing. But even after being given intricately crafted toys, the best clothes and several servants to attend to her every whim, all she ever wanted was time alone with her father. Ankha's mother had been the Lady Isendara who died from a plague sweeping Shandaria in 187. Left with Mekhailo to raise her, Ankha had a lonely childhood among servants at the Shandarian palace as Mekhailo was kept increasingly busy with his inventions. In 189 Mekhailo's genius brought him to the attention of Orion - Father of the Eldar Qual. Orion wanted to manufacture stones so intricate and flawless that souls could be kept locked within them. Orion's tasks began occupying Mekhailo's every waking moment. Eventually by 194 he began using Ankha to help him with calculations and experiments, keeping the whole thing secret from the Shandarian royalty. The Shandarian Rebellion
of 196.
By 196 the serfs had
mobilized, thrown off the yoke of Shandarian nobility and attacked several
castles before moving on the Capital of Dahl
Lore.
Fearing for his daughter's life at the hand's of the rebels (as other Lord's and Lady's had already been drowned in the river or thrown from the walls) Mekhailo took his one and only prototype Heart stone - a black gemstone able to indefinitely contain a soul and operated on his daughter's body. - replacing her heart with the mystical stone. Ankha survived and as the rebels began running through the palace halls, Mekhailo sent her away with his most trusted servant Duan and a bundle of strange objects. Minutes after Ankha had entered a secret escape tunnel, Orion arrived to take his notes. Orion perused the notes
and thanked Mekhailo.
Duan took Ankha far
away from the burning palace, hiding in the countryside for several weeks.
News soon spread that the entire Shandarian nobility had been found and
executed - all bar Ankha Khazarad. Ankha was now heir to the throne but
the rebels wanted to set up their own form of government and own royalty.
They knew they couldn't do this whilst one of the original Shandarian line
still lived and began scouring the countryside offering a huge reward.
Mekhailo had given Ankha the Flute of Shandar- a Titan made object of incredible beauty entirely made of yellow tinged laen. The Flute had been the symbol of Shandarian nobility for over 100 years, possessing strange powers and blessings from the Titans. One day their food ran out and Duan said he would have to fetch some more. He kissed young Ankha good-bye (she was still only 12) and said he'd return in five days time. Ankha never saw Duan again as he was captured by the rebels, tortured and killed. Without food or anywhere to go, Ankha retreated into herself, discovering by fluke one of her new Heartstone's abilities. Without realizing it she accidentally triggered a form of hibernation - putting her mind, body and soul into a perfectly preserved sleep. Unfortunately her lack of experience meant she slept undisturbed for over 2400 years ! In 2601 she was discovered by the Spiritualist Adunathel and Ceraph of the Living Dark. Awakened into a strange new World, Ankha began trying to find the Titans whom her people had worshipped. But the Titans were no more - imprisoned, banished or slain. Later in 2601 Ankha used the Flute of Shandar to free Vorshim from his imprisonment under the Born Mountains of Esia. Vorshim stepped into the Ids on a journey through them to Eldar Prime. Ankha - 12 years of
age

Kit
was born on the World of Eternium in the year 1254, losing both her parents
in a house fire at the tender of six. Shipped off to live with her Grandfather
Miles she befriended a stray dog called Barnaby and retreated into her
own world to avoid the horror of her past.
Easily able to make friends, Kit still chose to play alone, taking long walks with Barnaby around the local village and its scenic countryside. It was on one of these walks with her Grandfather that a landslide nearly claimed both their lives. About to be swept over a fifty foot cliff by a giant boulder Kit somehow turned it away with her mind. Miles suspected something odd about his grand daughter from that day on. Then one day he caught her levitating toys in her room. He was stunned. Due to the Law regarding mental powers he would have to turn his daughter over to the Soul Sanctuary - unless they kept it a secret. He told her to never reveal her powers but to keep them a secret and only practice them in private. He made her swear, because if anyone else found out what she could do, she would be taken away. Kit took her grandfather very seriously and did as he asked, but as the years passed, her powers grew more varied and powerful. She could travel out of her body across thousands of miles, teleport anywhere she wanted and create illusions. In 1269 her grandfather passed away leaving his cottage to her. She decided to live alone and study home based courses on history, architecture and languages. A quick learner, her reputation as an oddball in the community began escalating after she turned down two proposals for marriage and spurned several "would be" friends. You see Kit could also read minds and sense whether people were genuine. No one was, so she turned her back on the rest of the world. Never having the confidence to use her powers for anything other than her own exploration, Kit took the first chance of her entire life one night in 1271. She spied a being leaping from roof to roof with inhuman agility and a strange, alluring mind. This being was Xenon Von Victor - A Chaos Vampire with a tormented soul. She decided to speak to this being, opening herself up to his life and his troubles. From that point on her life changed. She and Victor instantly became friends; Kit finding a strength of character in Victor she had always lacked and Victor finding a purity in Kit that would help lead him to salvation. DAUGHTER OF CERAPH AND ASHAR GUENTAS ANGEL OF THE ETERNAL DAWN
|
Sinsifel was born in Eternium's Estoan Epoch, approximately 8000 years prior to the Fourth Age and its subsequent conflict between Law and Chaos. Essentially the daughter of Xenon Von Victor and Valris Rylek, Sinsifel's exact origins are extremely complex. Kutal, Lord of Chaos and Baron of Blood decided one day to create himself a daughter. But like most Lord's of Chaos, Kutal lost the plot and went about this simple task in an altogether more exciting way. Unable to bring himself to do it the old fashioned way, Kutal scoured the Multiverse until he found a suitable woman. Her name was Esmera and she lived alone, deep in a forest on the tranquil moon of Arboro. Esmera was already pregnant from an unknown assailant and Kutal found himself pitying her. He began frequently visiting her cabin, helping her find food and the strength to go through with the next nine months. Kutal became her guardian angel and when the child was about to be born, Esmera entrusted her daughter's fate to the kind man she had shared her soul with. But as soon as the child took its first breath, Esmera died and Kutal did nothing. Instead he gathered the child into his arms, took her outside and before Xenon Von Victor's shocked eyes, swallowed the baby whole. In explanation of Kutal's strange and seemingly horrific act, Kutal needed to understand and share in the experience of carrying a child. By bringing the child inside his being, he understood its physicality completely. What's more, anything consumed by Kutal would immediately be immortalised and granted some of his own power. Kutal then reached back into his mouth and drew forth a sword - The first of the Blood Swords and for a while Sinsifel existed in this inanimate form, bonded to Xenon's spirit and blood. Kutal did this so that Xenon could carry her around safely until the time was right for her to be "born again." After various adventures (see Eternium's Timeline), Xenon shared his Vampiric blood with Valris (for the second time), passing some of Sinsifel's essence over too. With Sinsifel now existing between them, Kutal manipulated the Time Streams to strand the two Vampires in Eternium's past. 8000 years from any civilisation, Xenon and Valris rediscovered their love and nine months later witnessed Sinsifel's rebirth from inside Valris. Sinsifel appeared to be a normal baby girl and aged accordingly, playing and learning with a keen mind and strong, healthy body. Even without the regenerative super powers of her parents, she still managed to astound them but being delightful and loveable. As she grew older, Sin began to talk to the local birds. Soon whole flocks of them descended upon the house Victor had built for his new family and Sin began naming them all. For more about Sinsifel's childhood and adventures onboard the Evereon Timeship, see Eternium's Time. Update...
