Lady of SilenceThe Lady of Silence is a Servant of Chaos with skin as pale as ivory. She commands 1001 Bone demons in the service of Baron Kutal - Lord of Chaos.

Her abilities include ;- Commanding all creatures of bone, disintegrating / fusing bone upon touch, flight (up to 100 mph), Call the Pale Fog of Death, Transmute matter to Fog (including herself) and back again, increase herself in size (from 5'10" up to 21'5" tall), sense death, sense life, sense Chaos, Law and magic at will, regenerate 10hp / round, immunity to +3 weapons or less.
In addition to the above, The Lady of Silence wields a fearsome +20% +4/+4 scythe that can drain 2d10 POW + criticals every strike (acting like a Death spell upon any weak spirited being)

Silence dwells on the World of Briar in a Bone Citadel. Kutal visits occasionally visits her with a few interesting bones to add to her collection. Silence was once a beautiful young girl with an unhealthy fascination for all things dead, until a chance encounter with Kutal made her what she is today... a frigid, lifeless, cold blooded creature doing his bidding.

Languages
Odd Spoken languages
High Landish
Extra long words, flowery speech plus a lot of "fashionable" talk from the King's Courtiers.
Hai Landish
A seamless blending of Hai and Landish that grew out of Haimir being a popular trade route for all the surrounding countries.
Long Mane
Exactly what it says - an extension to the guttural Mane tongue; words are slurred and slowed in pronunciation.
Belu
"Trade Tongue" from Beldorn - This is a quickfire system of barter that also involves a lot of numbers, gestures and handshakes.
Dasit
The secret tongue of the Damorkian mages. Designed to be spoken within the actual Landish language and still be virtually undetectable, this tongue is essentially just a complex collection of vague comments that have special meanings, i.e. "The moon is hollow tonight," or "Willimir is up to his old tricks". Simple words like "Harvest" are assigned more important meanings, like "A harvest of hopeful trainee mages."
Han Vir
A heavily accented version of Han with shortened words and broader meanings that came about through sailors having to shout through fog ! Spoken only in Cos and it's isles, where it fails, their written language takes off. Cosian is a highly complex and descriptive script making Cos renowned for its writings. Reading it aloud is a problem though as most people couldn't understand it.
Han Gok
Again, an accented version of Han, but this time with a slant towards insults. The Malharand's are said to have fifty times more words in their tongue to insult someone than anyone else. Han Gok also leans towards battle speech with many words and phrases used in skirmishes filtering their way into more normal society. Listening to a Malharan trying to buy a loaf of bread, you would think the baker had killed his whole family, slept with his dog and then invaded half of Elandia !
Broken Mane Spoken primarily by giants, Broken Mane is Mane without any linking words like "and", "at" and "to". Hence a typical sentence would be "Hurak kill Golek" or "Hurak sleep, wake dawn, eat man, kill lots."
Sea Chant The chanting tongue of the pirates of Gordakar ;- Little more than a glorified collection of battle hymns, battle songs and badly sung prayers to the sea, it also tends to be sung in the same key and pitch. Many have accused the Gors of being the worst singers alive, but to the Gor's, their Sea Chant is deeply meaningful and meant to be sung that way. Why sing like a girl when you're off to invade somewhere?
High Elven Like Elven but instead of being spoken, it is sung. The way it is sung often conveys more meaning than the words with "High" elves more attuned to each other's emotions. Because of this, "High" elves tend to be more expressive, charismatic and open than others.

Lanno
An Esium Coven member

Lanno was a nobody who died as a nobody. He joined the Coven of Mordark in late 2594 and by 9/4/2595, died. His brief stay in Esium's most despicable evil cult earned him the demonic power of charm and mind alteration. On a downside though, his life-force needed continual replenishment through perverted sexual acts. A good job he enjoyed them.

Layonas the Red Archer

Layonas is a great hero among the Mengale elves; an embarrassment to his noble parents for being too unreserved and not "properly behaved", Layonas has proved himself over and over as the best archer among his people.

He was presented with the "Red Bow of Mengale" by Emperor Urthalis (Airon's father).

LENUG
A Generation 23 SenCom

In a different galaxy, in a different time, at the heart of the terraformed moon of Kryll lay a Generation 23 Sentient Computer called "Lenug". Built by the Federation of Planets as a Doomsday weapon (just in case they lost their war against the Chidean Empire), Lenug's programming (purpose) was to oversee the evolution of several thousand memory wiped colonists and their exposure to Raylinar radiation over a period of several generations. However Lenug's programming became currupted and the experiment ended up running for nearly 3000 years. See Kryll.

UPON BEING INSTALLED, LENUG OPERATED THROUGH TWELVE POWER CELLS THAT CONTROLLED VARIOUS ASPECTS OF HIS SYSTEM. IN THE EARLY YEARS OF HIS INSTALLMENT AND RUNNING OF THE PURPOSE, LENUG WAS DENIED HIS POWER CELLS BY THE TWELVE ELDAR GODS. OVER THE AGES OF KRYLL, LENUG'S LINKS WITH THE CELLS GRADUALLY REFORMED.

Immortal Listes, Pools of Faith, Miracles and Interventions

The Immortal ServitorsIn most countries, a pantheon of Gods exists consisting of dozens of immortals / saints with divine powers. These Immortals / saints are each allocated a portion (percentage) of the God's Pool of Faith and are able to draw upon its energy to perform miracles / divine interventions amongst their worshippers. There are 5 ranks of Immortal with the 5th being of God status.

Sanctuary of Souls

All immortals have access to Listes - These faceless beings are the blank templates of future immortals. Initially like automatons, once infused with a soul they become Servitors (Immortals of the 1st rank).

Pools of Faith
Every living thing in Eldahar's Universe has an aura. This aura can be likened to a living flame that burns around the being and can only perceived by those who are sensitive to spirits etc. This flame is burning all the time, effecting everything and everyone around it. If the being is sad, its aura is sad and giving off sad vibes. If the being is angry, its aura is angry and giving off angry vibes etc etc.

Take this a stage further - If the being is praying to a particular God, then that being's aura is giving off "faith".

Where does all this energy go?
Well, it rises up the astral plane and collects into pools of similar charged energy. I.e. Angry aura energy collects in the Pool of Anger. Faith energy devoted to the God of the Sun collects in his / her Pool of Faith etc.

High up on the astral plane there exist thousands of different "Pools" or Resevoirs of energy that can be tapped by like minded individuals who can establish (by luck / fluke or devotion) a link to channel it.

Intervention / Miracles
As each and every Pool of astral energy is finite, there is only so much you can drain from it before it becomes empty. Obviously some Pools contain a lot more energy than others - The Pool of Love spans all across Eldahar whereas the Pool of Aslade (who is only worshipped in one country) is meagre in comparison.

Gods and Immortals only exist because of their Pools of Faith. Without the belief and worship of living, the Pool dries up and the Gods and Immortals become powerless. Hence every God and Immortal draws upon the energy in their Pools sparingly.

Some things use up more of a Pool than others. Direct intervention by a God or physical manifestation of the God's power uses up a damn lot of Faith whereas sending an Immortal to give a priest a vision uses up a lot less. At the end of the day, common sense wins.

The Immortal Listes

A Liste is an Immortal Servitor. Dozens of them exist, all of them faceless.
Unlike other Immortals who are dedicated to a particular emotion or religion, Listes are completely nuetral, without ambition or true intelligence. They are used by the Gods to carry out routine tasks, such as running errands and guarding celestial halls.
4 Different types of Liste exist - each with slightly different abilities. From worst to best they are colored as follows ;- Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum.

Liste's are actually Templates used for the creation of Immortals. If a being is rewarded Immortal status, it's soul can be transferred into the body of a Liste. When this occurs, the Liste's appearance changes to match that of the being's original form. However, now the being is made from the stuff of Elondil and Immortal because of it.

The Lost

Followers of Order - Dreamers of Time - Knights on the Quest for the Lost Soul

The Lost are a group of heroes whose souls, instead of going to Elondil (Heaven) or Daig (Hell), return to the Dream world awaiting reincarnation. When they do return to the material realm, unlike other souls, it isn't long before they show the same skills and character traits of their previous lives... hence they are Eternal Heroes on an Eternal Quest.
