Realms of Reality
All of Eldahar's Realms were
created by the Dragon Baphomet.
Because of this, They are not
necessarily a perfect reflection of
Human belief systems as Baphomet
laid the Foundation on which all the
Realms have evolved.
The Soul Cycle
Material The realm of the Flesh and five senses; the realm of matter.
Ethereal The realm of the Spirit, aura's, ghosts and their ilk.
It mirrors the Material realm, but exists within it's own unique laws of reality.
Astral This is the realm of the aura and Soul. It is a place of pure spirit, baring very little resemblance to either the Material or Ethereal realms and often perceived in bright glowing colors. Because of it's "raw" nature, it is also the realm of the most potent beings and the gateway to all Higher Realms.

When something dies, its astral cord (or life anchor) breaks, freeing the soul to traverse the astral plane. Souls are normally swept to either Elondil or Daig but sometime's a few get lost along the way.

Heaven
Eldahar's Heaven; Home to all pantheons and all dieties. Here Souls can choose to reincarnate or spend Eternity beside their Gods.
Souls that arrive here cannot (except under exceptional circumstances) be resurrected.
Daig
Midnight
Hell
Eldahar's Hell; Souls that end up here are Godless and damned forever, until such time as they suffer absolution and fade to nothing. Their soul energy is recycled to produce New Souls. See Daig, Midnight and Descent into Daig for more info.

Dream Realms Extensive planes of alter reality based upon the hopes, dreams, aspirations, nightmares and imaginations of those living on Eldahar.
Dozens of small Dream lands exist, each one isolated from the next; the largest of these is called the Mirror of Reality.
Ave Thenox The evil of Daig is distilled and allowed to drip down, forming the Ave Thenox - The Dark Lake. The lake acts as an evil "cork" on Daig preventing souls from escaping back into the World. Evil "evaporates" and empowers the Auras Remus.
Arda Avatarn The purity of Elondil rises to form the Arda Avatarn or Blessed Lake. This lake of goodness powers the Annex Animus.
Auras Remus One half of the World's Heart. Evil. Associated with the Midnight Sun.
Annex Animus The other half of the World's Heart. Good. Often referred to as the Sanctuary of Souls.
Idioms Fragments of Reality left over from the Titan epochs when Dragon's fought for supremacy over the Heartstone of the World. The Idioms are infinite splinters of the whole. 

 
Rex FelisAlso see Rou Felis

Born and raised by his mother Yinelle in the city of Naskor, southeastern Poru in the 7 States of Esium, Rex led a pitiful life up to the age of 15. Beaten, abused and on several occasions left for dead, life in Naskor was hard. Yinelle, a local whore, managed to scrape enough earnings to keep them both from starving but Rex it seemed was good for nothing, always ending up in trouble and being chased by local gangs.

Then when Rex reached 15, he found his mother cut and stabbed by one of the local guild masters called Tarbane. With his mother suddenly dying in his arms, Rex had nothing more to live for. He had had enough of Naskor and its pain. Armed with a knife he snuck into Tarbane's house and attempted murder.

Rex proved no match for the hardened guild master, who stabbed him instead and tossed his body in the river. At this point death seemed certain but as fate would have it, the local witch - a woman called Anstice happened by. She dragged Rex's body from the muddy river, nursed him back to health and spoke to him of the future.

"I have gazed into your soul young Rex. It is the soul of a cat, just waiting to be released. What's more, I see a destiny woven around you. You must live to breathe life into another."

Heeding her words, Rex stayed with the witch for several months, building up his strength, honing his reflexes and listening intently to her teachings. After 9 months with the Witch, she came up to him and said, "You are ready to return to Naskor. No one will recognise the man you have become but I shall no longer be able to aid you. But my last gift to you shall be a second name - You shall be henceforth be called Rex Felis."

Rex returned to Naskor with renewed confidence and physical ability. He quickly established himself as an up and coming thief and someone to not mess with.
There in Naskor he met Rhodesha - the beautiful daughter of the Guild master of Assassins who became his lover. Together they had a daughter whom Rex called Rou and a son called Vere.

After several years of study and training, in 2590 Rex managed to usurp King Horlice of Naskor and gain the title - King of Thieves. He remained King until 2600 when Mephisto the Vampire of Greyog took the throne by force, killed Rhodesha and Vere, then nearly killed him.

The Ring of Mab Creates a sudden flash of light 2 / day. Used for quick getaways.
Cloth of Protection Worn over Rex's heart. 6 AP vs all attack types. 4 inches sq.
Stone of Misdirection Thrown onto the floor, anyone passing within 10' of it loses all sense of direction at 5th level.
The Cat's Claw Shortsword. One metal blade + two magical parralel blades of force. Delivers 3 lots of 1d6 +2/+2 + STR + CRITS. A lot of potential damage! Rex got this weapon from a dead merchant who had recently been traveling through Berthain.
Whistle of Piercing Can be blown once every combat round. Save or get 3 stuns! Effective up to 30'.
Amulet of Doors A strange magic item that when activated creates an invisible magical door that can be opened away from Rex or towards him with different results.

Towards - Amulet stores / remembers the current location.
Away - Amulet opens door to previously stored location.

Rex uses this for quick getaways - stepping through to his safe house.

Cloak of Shadows An elven item that adds +25% to hiding in shadows or darkness.
Ring of Stealth Created by Alexor of the White Chapter - Reduces the noise wearer makes by 75%.
Bracers of Shadow Armor 3 times a day these black iron bracers create weightless Shadow armor around the wearer for 7 AP. Armor lasts 15 minutes or until it takes more than 28 HP in a single blow.

Merlendy

In the year 2600, Laylak the Wraith masterminded a full scale attack on the 7 States of Esium. With the forces of the Living Dark, Orin the Traitor God, The Crucible of Magic and Black Elves combined, Esium fell within a few short weeks.

However scattered across the 7 states there were those who still resisted the tyranny and fought for freedom. Under the guidance and leadership of a few charismatic and heroic individuals the freedom fighters of Esium banded together to form The Resistance.

Using the forgotten and abandoned ghost town of Merlendy as a base and then later the ancient Tower's of High Sorcery, the Merlendy Resistance gradually swelled in its numbers and fought to take back their country. Using a great deal of magic, the Resistance consisted of stalwart military types, heroic adventurers and the just plain strange.

Sub-Groups within the Resistance

Ruling Council The most powerful and influential of Esium's heroes.
Responsible for making the major decisions.
White Chapter Archaic group of Wizards that fell in the early days of the war. Only Hethcanter the Brown remained active for the entire duration.
Sisterhood of Magic Group of independent and special women who banded together to use their unique skills to aid Esium.
Merlendy Military The surviving remnants of Esia's military might. Scattered and badly beaten the soldiers and their leaders regrouped and reformed at Merlendy - changing their tactics. 
Civilians People picked up and rescued by the Resistance.
Confederates of Derry When Merlendy and the Towers began running out of room, a group of adventurers etc. set up on their own - acting under Merlendy's guidance.
Steel's Freedom fighters The adventurer Steel gathered these warriors together to attack and liberate Esia's Orin occupied towns and villages. Using lightning raids and razor sharp tactics, they managed to free over 2000 people.
Thadden's Non-human Heroes Thadden - a gigantic troll, became a hero in his own right to the non human's who had suffered under Laylak's reign. Attracting other trolls, ogres and goblins to his command, Thadden's heroes gained a reputation of always choosing suicide missions.

Rosadern
Rosadern was one of Evermore's meanest Black Giants - standing 20' tall with jet black skin and silver hair. He died against the King of Dawn's bodyguard, Sharese, at the Battle of Doomwaith.

 
Rou Felis
Rou Felis, Mistress of Fate

Rou is Rex Felis' daughter - trained as a thief by her father - King of Naskor / King of Thieves.
She joined the Resistance after Rex's death, helping Ross regain some of Elven Starstones and eventually ended up in the Caves of Life ;- chosen by Fate to be Fate's hand.

Soon after becoming one of the 3 incarnations of Fate, Rou ascended to the Realm of Purgatory and joined the other neutral Immortals there.
