General North, near Corskairre’s new lair.
As she steps out of her carriage to enter the Temple of Misha, Kitara is attacked by three suicidal Orion cultists. Gray (ever on hand) leaps to her defence and quickly kills the assassins. The event shakes Kitara up, showing just how much she has changed since the ascension. Normally Kitara would shrug such things off. The
Sons of the Seer
Again using Kethry's Moonstone,
Alyx scries the Sons of the Seer (a
Beldorn based group of adventurers). She witnesses the Sons of the
Seer attacking Wraith tombs in the Catacombs and immediately informs Gray.
Gray dreamshifts to the Sons' HQ in Beldorn. He knocks on the door and warns them. "Laylak is tracking your spell across the astral plane. He will find you here and kill you all." The adventurers are worried but fail to act. Sure enough, Laylak (like an astral bloodhound) arrives in Beldorn with his faithful wraith general, Vantacos. The two Lord Wraith's begin wreaking carnage in the area. Gray charges the Wraith general and explodes his spirit (dying in the process but knowing he will return a few days later). Vantacos survives the blast but is badly drained and leaves the scene. Laylak however remains and gatecrashes the adventurer's tower. Supremely confident, the Wraith Lord blasts his way down into the heart of the tower to face Seth - Leader of the group. Seth activates his Bane
Orb (a rare magical device that unleashes
Bane light - light designed to exploit any being's weakness / fear.)

| 3/10 | Kdina has a good chat with
Ceraph about the Way of Things. Wraith Kimril
runs away after spotting Ceraph in the distance.
Ross and Mercy speak with Orome Unsung (Saker for short). They discover he is actually a "White elf" and anomaly; - A Black elf gone wrong whose Heartstone was damaged, tearing his soul into two halves. Hollis shapes a sword with her mind and calls it the Orison blade. She presents it to Earl Prior of Arnan as a gift. Mercy meets with Arjuna of Emonra. The Arch Bishop of Emonra insults her and says, "I abhore you and your magic using kind. Scurry hence from my sight before the Light smite at you." |
| 4/10 | Ceraph drinks at the “Fat
Lady” Inn. She later attacks Ostelan, killing thirty Orin guards and 2
trolls.
Ceraph and Aduna raid the Shandar Hills and several barrows, using the Eye of All Hearts to "see" through the earth and pinpoint magic items. They come away with several objects but no major artefacts.

arrive in Merlendy.

Merlendy
attacks and liberates Nord from Orin's rule. Ross slays Lord Risen the
Forsaken.
When Ross' troops are inside the castle's bailey, Laylak uses Maerledo's censer to suddenly create trenches and hem people in. Then he uses his Lanthorn of Deadlight to animate the dead into zombies. Battling and losing against the undead, Ross calls to Mercy for assistence. Mercy teleports Alyx into the area wielding the Pale Rod of Bannen Brae (a bone that controls all lesser undead in the area). Frustrated, Laylak steps briefly from his dark hiding place and into the shadow. He snaps his Dark staff and sends a huge darkfire ball into the area. Tragic
Casualties
Raven screams in fury, leaps down from a wall and engages the wraith Marghoul. The two warriors battle it out beneath Nord's castle with Raven nearly dying from his wounds. His Raven dagger impales Marghoul; when the wraith retreats back to his tomb, the dagger goes with him and finishes the job. Marghoul dies. 9pm. Gray returns to the mortal coil.
Goruan Eshan awakens in the catacombs after being buried on the 22/9/2596. The recent earthquake has released his remains and allowed his powerful regeneration to kick in. |

some Orin and LD priests. It's a good’un.
In a fit of anger against
Emonra's interference against Gray, Alyx takes vengeance.
When Alyx tells Gray that Merlendy has vanished, the Doman goes sniffing around where Merlendy WAS. He senses some sort of disturbance there but before he can investigate further, one of Hethcanter's guardian earth elementals tries nibbling him. Gray drops everyone off on
the Sea-Witch using Mylin's House.
Gray takes Kitara to visit
her 2nd cousin Etanya, near Cabal in the northeast.

known as the Dark Virgin. Except she isn’t
a virgin anymore. Ankha takes Vorshim the Flute
of Shandar. Vorshim plays it and shifts through the Ids.
Aduna, Ankha and Ceraph later regret their hasty decision. Vorshim's items are uncovered by Ceraph (a gift from Vorshim to Ankha). They include the Olahdan's Lifecord and the Eye of All Hearts.

prepare to leave for Gost Yaroch.
Gray enjoys brief popularity in Gost Yaroch as a celebrity. He also sends hate-mail to Arjuna and receives 3 invites to attend parties and private luncheons from Lord Atren Mardain, Rudisia High Priestess of Misha and Adrien the High priest of Lluthe. Later when he visits Rombhard in the Palace of Gost Yaroch, Gray grows concerned. The strange enchanter seems completely mad, going on about "the nothing" and how it is "after him and everywhere." Gray shakes his head, leaving Rombhard manipulating the shadows in an unnatural way. *Note - Gray is one of the last people to ever see Rombhard again as shortly after this visit he vanishes from his locked room.

touches the Throne of Aslan & vanishes

Mercy moves her mind to the source of the Mist (In Tharchon City). She finds the Crystal-Mind and Hollis replaces the Mist Lord. 25% of Hollis' mind becomes the new Mist Lady. |

Taking
on the Daoman
Ross then visits the City of Fanbad on Shantras and meets the Arch Vizier, Srajin. The Vizier asks Ross to kill a Sand-dragon called Krak-Maboul and retrieve the Ring of Succor that it wears on a tooth - in return for Srajin's starstone. Ross accepts, after sensing the Sûl of Kaimyrrh, Farad Kaday, lurking behind a curtain and using meta-abilities to try and read Ross' mind. Ravenarr arrives at the Hawkridge commune. The Darkwing family adopt Kilano and rename him Kildarken. |

Elias, Gray and the Spirits of Akilla - assault Quarmall and kill everyone.
The Primus Intonus Kempet is slain by Gray's Death-ring. Survivors from Bekan-Rula are picked up from the sea by Hollis. Many of them have been picked off by sharks after being abandoned by Bakshe and his ship the Sea Witch. Ross is not happy and orders Bakshe hunted and captured, dead or alive. |

Covens of Mordark attack Merlendy
Using a Chaos Ritual to teleport into Merlendy - the combined covens of Kane, Elandia, Esium and Beldorn wreak heavy casualties among the Resistance. Beledon Fetch opens up a portal and shoots Hethcanter dead. Mercy and Avalon are killed when a fireball explodes in a house nearby. Ross decides to use the Cup of Dawn and he, Tess and Celese all drink it. But not before Suraan sends 3 mages of the Soronar to attack (but Fimer drives them off) and the Eldar are informed to make use of the Cups effects. |

Ross gets help from Lurienn. Janina Espray and Alinde of Law are given to Ross to help him attack the coven's sanctuary in Wolden Wood. The attack goes ahead with Vance Walker and Janina and the coven being slaughtered. An alkium of chaos is shattered, summoning Turas Dorn of Chaos, who nearly kills Ross before Ross can use his medallion of recall and leave. |

The
Spirit of Akilla, Power, penetrates the Gray Forge with the Doman. Kerdel
& Nensayve ;the two stassis-held Eldar, are awakened.
The Doman unwittingly makes a woman called Niveve his Liste (personal immortal) when she dies next to him in Kaachuk after being tortured. He takes her to Elond where she is trained and given powers. Gray spends time in Elond. He sees Sung-che of Bensal, Crusac, Lyre, Kratu and is driven out after only a couple of days by Suranare and Saint Caspar of Emonra, who uses Vedenor of Band to lure him into a trap. Thorgustan
first visits Ross and Avalon.

sets off from the Catacombs.

Gray
is moved by intervention to S.Ulakhan and the village of Topi-kur, where
he forces Tutas of Mon to flee astrally and kills alot of Shojin warriors.
The Doman saves Tana ; she who bears Bethsheba and Tana (aged 12) is taken
to Daya. While delivering the villagers to safety in the Golnok Mnts, Gray
is attacked by Krenla of the Red Veil, an immortal of Ulakhan. Gray is
injured falling off a cliff but Niveve softens his landing.
Later that day, the Doman rescues Alison, a devotee of Misha, from the stake. He takes her to Gost Yaroch and safety. The Doman confuses the Jixyliah by changing its orders. |

The
Coronation of Etanya
Gray nervously checks all the security measures and gets himself into position. Just as Etanya is about to be crowned, Ceraph opens up the pre-planned dark-fold and drops a sphere of dark-fire. Hollis's mind absorbs the blast as she teleports Etanya and Rudisia away, but she is killed by the spiritual drain. Gray meanwhile overshoots the entire scene by dimension-dooring too far and ending up outside. Rushing back in, he uses the Elixer of Life and brings Hollis back to life. The coronation goes ahead but on the way back, Etanya's carriage is attacked again as Ceraph opens another fold and drops yet another dark-fire ball. Hollis once again takes the blast but this time doesn't die. Gray nearly gets Ceraph by powerstriking into the fold, but she gets away unidentified. Celese wards the Palace's throne room. That night, Laylak visits Gray in his room at the palace. Laylak blames Ceraph and before Gray can react, Laylak kills him with his Crown. The mess that is Gray's body is put back together by Hollis and Mercy for Gray to return to on the 27th. |

An Orin assassin tries to kill Sky (Ortha’s Temple,G.Yaroch.) Sky only just survives. Ross turns his mind to Bakshe; The Sea-Prince who betrayed Steel etc on his trip to Doth Therema. Ross wants compensation for the loss of life and asks Mercy and Hethcanter to find the Prince and bring him to trial. |

finds himself on a piece of astral strata while dreamshifting too and from
Elandia with Elias (who is returning to Andor).
Shayr attacks him, but a stalemate ensues and Shayr leaves.
Lur, a major spirit of Lure birds (red breasted) befriends Alyx in a pact. The Treaty of Providence is finalised with the Beldornian government. Providence will provide magical protection to any participating country so long as it is left alone. |

8pm.
Ambassador I-Che-ko brings word to Kitara and Gray about a deal between
Suraan and Gost Yaroch. Mir-ko-seng is the Do of the Kohlahm, Order
of the Pendulum. He wants his son M'sai to be fostered under a southern
religion and wants that religion to be Wan (poor
sod). The fostering period would be 8 years
and the price 220 stators a year. Gray accepts.
Later that night, Alyx persuades Gray to go on a random vault bash. By randomly dreamshifting to somewhere that looks like it contains treasure, Alyx hopes to discover some magical items. However the danger is obvious; they may arrive near a creature or trap and be instantly killed. Alyx and Gray randomly arrive in the Vault of Lord Sutai of Kaimyrrh. They ignore the magical entrance and loot the chests, stealing 12 bars of gold, 8 bags of coins and a magical white hood that drops wound factors to the head by 2 (i.e. from critical to major etc). They also steal the 3 Quoda stones. A message
arrives at Gray's vault from someone, asking for a meeting at the Devil's
Horn, 12pm on the 1st. Gray finds out Niveve probably can't make it to
Kane and doesn't bother going.
Ross has a bout of chronic depression. Rose has another child, a boy called Adam. |

Ashar makes a deal with Thorgustan - after demonstrating he can call up Bale Fire - the most destructive force of spiritual energy in existence... that literally wipes things out of existence. (Consequently, Bale Fire is not very World friendly). |

& Alyx recruit Seth, Beraid and Moki from Inn of the Motly Belle, town
of Berima, Beldorn.
Gray is off dreamshifting again, practising his ability of moving into any body currently in limbo between life & death. He rescues Suky & her father Errond before ending up by a wooden chair surrounded by evil trees in Eastern Kane. Ross and Celese visit Elan for a holiday.They attend an opera at the Grand Halls called "The Fey Prince." Stay at Halls of Soloman hotel and meet Sinban - a v.large dog on the streets and Tirixia (a F) 4th lvl mage. Celese and Ross also chat to Heronomus Alackhan - a magic-user come thief. |

Niveve
is put to work, travelling around Esia, scouting out priests and guards
of Orin and the Living Dark. Gray then begins a massive clean-up operation,
dreaming in and slaughtering people.
The fruit of Gray's work appears that night when using the Moonstone in Esiador, Alyx scries Laylak, Ilbrec, Dothdray, Rufix and Dothfen interrogating Panas of Akilla (bound in black chains) at Carapa. Laylak is not happy at Gray's killing spree. Laylak leaves for Cabal and Black-rains it to oblivion, killing Lord Araith. Gray possesses a plain 30yr old woman and takes her to Sussex where he attacks more Orin priests. |

Gray throws the Circlet of Crushing wills onto the Throne
of the Gods.
Message from Laylak to Gost Yaroch - "The days of blood are upon you. Our retribution shall be a hundred-fold on Eastern Daas alone !" The Doman is blamed for this and Cabal's destruction when Araith's head is thrown at the walls. Gray and Wan are 'exiled' from Gost Yaroch. Gray accidently dreamshifts to Coda - Daya. He eats with Lord Li and makes an impression on someone there... Goruan kills more Haimish, generally having fun. |

Intervention
time again as Gray is moved to Emry, a village in Codair called Gorse,
where Dairon, Rommel and Aresha are worshipped. A plague is ravaging the
inhabitants, so Alyx takes the bowl of Aslade to them before soldiers exterminate
everyone.
Gray goes body-swapping and ends up as a L.Dark guard in Esium at the "Dead Wizard Tavern." He heads off for the Temple of Orin but does not get to Cruesalath before being driven from the body by Sheven of Orin. Gray finds two children ; Neseke (Pow 13) and Anabon (baby boy Pow 23) for the future. |

Gray
shifts and ends up in Ulakhan where 600 women and children are being shot
to death. He takes action by Star-cometting the Kha-Khan's only son Rakan
and his Scorpian guard. Rakan dies and the Kha-ji-hadar of Mon astrally
pursue Gray (flying with Niveve).
They fail to catch him before he gets back to Daya.
A God causes Gray's wrists to bleed. Alyx takes a fit on Gray for bringing Ulakhan down upon Daya again. Gray goes to his holy hill and prays for guidence till the 8th. Ross on Shantras - pin-pointing starstones via wildfolk realm. |

Benel Joshu and two Dark
elves teleport into Ceraph's bedroom, interrupting a conversation between
Ceraph, Aduna and Kdina. Benel chops Ceraph's "flesh" into two (hence
she loses her "child" from Ashar).
Thorgustan bursts in through the wall, colliding with Benel at 70mph. Benel is terribly wounded but just manages to escape, taking his two elves with him. Ceraph is very shaken, but
Kdina is furious. She begins trying to find ways of masking their aura's
so that the Black elves can't follow them. They move to another house in
another town. Nearward altars their facial features.
Ross in Kane, after another starstone. This one has transformed an earth mage into a greater earth elemental called Anas Saroma. Anas nearly kills everyone by sinking the earth and then burying everything. Rex Felis is crushed to death by earth and Ross' mother Arwen breaks an arm. The survivors erect a pyre for Rex and transport his daughter Rou to the site to mourn. |

Ross visits Queen Estarriah’s Palace of Stars in the Elven Forest of Alinor. He cleanses the Star stone Yana after it was tainted by "The Unspoken Oath" of Mordark back in 1040. |

Emonra
rewards the Doman's efforts of prayer by moving him onto a burning boat.
Rosemary of Ariel visits Gray and says "All our tresspasses will be forgiven when the eye shines upon the World of the Misgiven." Ross and Estarriah cleanse the Starstone -Yána. Saure the Champion of Alinor and Princess Cirithcarne, join Ross in his Quest for starstones. |

Thorgustan and Kdina grab
Bakshe's anti-scrying pendant for Kerri-Dwhen. If Kerri is protected, Ceraph
(who shares Kerri's aura) will be protected
too. Bakshe comes back to find his bedroom ransacked. He blames Ross and
his bloody Resistance !
Ross visits Drail and chats
to Chantra (the River Guardian) about her starstone. She will give it up
if he saves her river from foreigners (ie Suraanese and Gordakarians).

Ashar and Ceraph make love again. Again, Ceraph conceives. Back to Kane; Ross enters Anas Saroma's living lair with Mercy floating mentally by his side. He is forced to seek refuge in his sword, but eventually possesses Anas mentally - allowing enough time for Princess Cirithcarne to draw Anas‘ stone out; the old man is transformed into a tortoise and taken away by Rou. |

Ross and his crew are in Vorn, near Castle Vordja and Tanes.Ka the Ancient Wizard. They encounter a huge troll called Hurgel, a scorpion illusion, dreaming dust, and a demon called Grizekski - all on the path to the castle. |

explores the Dark-veils of Rufix's Temple, finding links to Haimir, C.O.E
and Bailem. An immortal of Koen tells Gray to kill Cly of Emonra or else.
Aduna, Ankha, Ihlahn, Ceraph and Nearward all play with the Titan Artefacts. Aduna and Ceraph both use the Companion-stone. Aduna gets a talking horse called LittleCloud. Ceraph gets a woman called Marnie. Vorn
and the Grinnekki Black Gnomes
Examing
the Soul snaring stones, Ross learns the following things have been imprisoned
- An adventurer called Jocelry Leonards (put inside 2424), a basilisk,
Lord Uteran of Lanth, a lizard man called Chu, a 2 headed dog, a gargoyle,
a doomalkim (who he gives to Thadden), a human shape-shifter called Chesry,
a dwarf called Hors, a pointy headed Goblin, an ogre (again given to Thadden),
a troll and orn (who also join Thadden's Heroes), a fire bat and dozens
more.

Ross
receives a mental contact to the Towers from a H.Born Willial. Beth lets
it in and it latches onto Ross. Willial is infact SarKaivar of the Chorus
and teleports Ross into solid ground. Ross's magic resistance and recall-coin
to Mount Eldahar
save him.
Goruan receives a dream from the Emerald Sisters of Haimir, asking him to come to their Green mountain. Ross is teleported underground in an assassination attempt by SarKaivar. He just manages to enter inside his sword before being crushed to death. When he is rescued, he is really annoyed. The Mengale elves in Merlendy (led by Arwen, Ross' mother) leave on a secret mission (they secretly pay Hethcanter for use of The Bridge). |

Gray picks up the help Elias promised - two H.Born sorcerors, man and wife called Villa and Amber. |

is seen in the palace of Gost Yaroch grounds. Hollis investigates.
In the afternoon, Avalon (wearing the Anti-magic coller) visits on an Eldar-horse, the Ulak Olahdans on their holy mountain. He speaks to Anejek. The Kha-ji-hadar strike astrally, but Avalon survives (because of coller) and leaves. Hollis teleports Anejek into the ground where he dies. Ceraph meets with Istar in “The Long Boat” Inn, SE Elandia. They try and work out a trade. |

SarKaivar
under an illusion - approaches and attempts to coerce Hollis in Gost Yaroch,
but she resists and he leaves.
Mercy has mental shields up, so SarKaivar cannot find her. He attacks Hollis and with his concert to back him, nearly defeats her. But Mercy knocks Hollis mentally out first, saving her life. Ceraph penetrates the Lullreth Crume Seal Laylak put around the Temple of the Old Gods, using Olahdan's Lifecord to shift planes. She meets the Lich Kings (Old Pentacull). Ashar
destroys the Temple of the Old Gods, unleashing the Liches and causing
Trent (1 of the 5)
to temporarily grow flesh. The other four Liches perform a Bone ritual;
they make each of their bones a spell (unleashed if broken) and collapse
into a pile for Trent to carry. Trent then carries their bones into the
undead realm and uses them to defeat the King of Vampires - Greyog himself.

Playing
with a new Doom predicting ball
by the chair in Darksea, Alyx is shocked to to see it turning black. She
tells Gray, who sends Niveve to scout out the area. Niveve soon finds Laylak
and his wraiths searching the corridors very near the chair room. Seeing
Niveve
however, Laylak calls off the attack and gets a headache.
Tracking
one of the Starstones, Ross, 2 Knights of Rouse (Alyric and Clain), Eeranas,
Arwen, Saure, Dojjen and Rou Felis enter the Caves
of Life - via link site in Andor's Forest
of Gloha. They overcome 3 tests set by Yrsis,
the Guardian of Fate. One test requires 3 self-statements; Ross admits
he is egotistical, stubborn and likes wanton slaughter.

Gray decides it is safer in New Risen...but a demon-dog sent by the Olahdan of Ulak, bursts into Alyx's house and kills him. |

Attack
on the Crucible
5am The Resistance attack Doth Therema. An astral Istar attacks Ross, Avalon and Tess, but fails to do any damage. They also fail to get inside the Crucible and retreat. Avalon later visits Terjon Pilot; Lord of Avians and learns that the item Istar used to go astral was his; a Golden Falcon. Avalon then visits the Sulin chieftess Aruane. Ross gives a Law sermon (a rare occurance), and blesses a cup to Rouse. Ross sleeps, thinking about Laylak's vault. Greyog is deposed from the Undead Realm by the Lich-Lords of Esium. Greyog is drained of all blood and left paralized. Thorgustan is allowed free. Alyx is killed by another demon sent by the Ulaks as she walks out of New Risen. Gray returns to life and visits Hethcanter to get more magic resistance again against Shefanhow. Meanwhile Shefanhow has been for a fly and returned again. Alyx shifts in upon the 10 Wraiths of Fallen Candor in Kane and blows up their leader with a lightning bolt from the greave. They all die, which makes her feel better. |

Gray magically seals Hethcanter in his room. Gray uses his powerstrike to make a massive landslide within hearing distance of Shefanhow, to lure the dragon away from the tomb it guards. It doesn't move, so Gray tries talking to it. Shefanhow tells him "I yield only to the midday sun and until that bearer comes before me, I let no-one pass within." Ankha plays the flute again and opens up a portal to the Ids. Kdina, Aduna and Ankha explore the Ids, on a mission to track down Vorshim. They fear the Titan is going to pull the plug on everything that exists.
Alyx
spends the entire day talking with priests and Tana.

in Ulakhan
A great battle ensues in Ulakhan between those loyal to the Kha-Khan and those loyal to his daughter; a split that occurs over the Kha-Khan's call for blood over the death of his son and his premature invasion plans of Esium. The Kha-ji-hadar (holy priests) back the daughter and help to smite the Kha-Khan's allies into quick submission. Rakan is slain by his daughter knife in the belly. A giant Dragon's claw sweeps down the Kha-Khan's cavalry.

Aran learns of the Diamond Tiger Ezoe in the Temple of Hulakoon from Omens. Gray is unsuccessful getting into the Tower of Night. Aran is taken to the Town of Kot in Beldorn so that he can steal the Tiger-stone. Gray takes him and picks him up again the next morning. |

Ross is still in his room.
Midday - Gray faces off to Ashar at Cabal Keep. Ashar gives him plenty of info, but Gray still leaves suspicious and asks alot of questions to Omens about him. 2.30pm Gray, Alyx, Aran and Hethcanter (on his bridge) go to the Temple of Hulakoon and meet Hulakoon itself. Aran slays it with Beastslayer and animates Ezoe. Omens says that the Mask is in Gost Arnan at "The Lost Crown" Inn, so Alyx and Gray travel there and drag Sky along. Taramon is asleep upstairs when a lightning ball explodes in his room. He escapes relatively unharmed to see Sky and Gray coming in. He absorbs Sky's spirit in a sudden panic but fails to absorb Gray's. Sky and Gray dead, Alyx starts swinging Woethorn and kills Taramon. However he manages to reach DrathThelmox's sphere before dying and the Dragon's spirit materialises to decimate the area with a Dragon-strike of Spirit. 800 people are killed in the area, including everyone in the Temple of Ariel. The body of Taramon and its items are taken by the Dragon, but Alyx survives as she enters her spiritual sanctuary (Woethorn) where DrathThelmox cannot touch her or it. |

Ross' s stay gets a bit too warm and he leaves, taking the Stargate with him. Gray imagines the wrong place and wakes up to be attacked by a guardian-golem. He defeats it very easily before trying again and arriving in the Citadel of the Sun. |

Alyx & Gray spread rumours around Gost Iren for Rufix to pick up. Alyx spends time with Vanity. Message arrives from King Brunden of Kane to Esiador saying ; that 5000 troops are to be sent down to Esia as a life-line for the people of Derry to save them from their own internal conflicts; the funding has been given by King Laylak and that he is sending General Bedelen (renowned for being brutal). |

passes all 3 tests at Castle Cthon
in Sardium and meets Preyli and Cthon himself who says; "There
shall come a time, called Winter's Lost in a World turned blind, when what
you bear shall burn in kind. Upon a shore, Prince of Reborn Stars and Lady
of the Seven Seas. You must not seek that icey death, till the fires burn
low and the purpose calls. The Black Gate is closed until the Black Noon."
Next
stop Elandia. Ross unknowingly goes up to a Black-elf stronghold and knocks
on the front door. After some time, Sauré the elven bodyguard is
coerced to attack everyone and it ends up with Ross fighting and defeating
him. In order to save Saure's life, Ross tells Shantras to take his unconscious
body to the Wildfolk realm.
Gray possesses Jack Moss and uses his body to spread rumours of a Dragon in the mountains, especially to a man called Dog. The Temple of Orin is informed. |
| 14/12 | Another
assassin is captured trying to climb into the Towers. A man called Monk
hired by a man called Kezrel, to kill Lord Garth, but 8 months before.
Dog visits "Savik" a city-boss in Gost Iren. Alyx scries him and Gray then visits "Savik" to find out more. "Savik" attacks Gray with a magic quill feather that breaks. "Savik" turns out to be Beltane CloudWand and is abducted Below whereupon being incredibly stubborn and provoking Alyx, she kills him and he turns to ash. A pheonix recreates his body and restores his life, so he retreats to his island and begins planning. Rufix begins scrying the Mountains of Glotha from the Valley of Eagles. |
| 15/12 | The
Cold War turns Dark
The Black-elves kidnap Queen Arillanne, asking that Pallance's heartstone be exchanged for her life. Ross has to comply and Arillanne is returned with an explosive device in her heart that Hollis removes. That night Watcher finds Laylak, Rufix and Asterius in the Valley of Eagles. After Laylak gives a glorified speach of conquest, he returns to his tomb. Alyx and Gray however shift in and attack Rufix and Asterius. A lightning bolt nearly destroys Asterius before he escapes using his hood to starstream. Rufix is not as fortunate as Gray's Starstone explodes around him causing a chain reaction of explosions in his items that destroy him utterly before Gray has even thrown one punch. |
| 16/12 | Laylak
burns Gost Iren virtually to the ground in anguish over the death of Rufix.
All priests of Orin & the living dark are slain by Laylak to make a mass funeral pyre. Laylak then goes to the Temple of Orin in Esium and Utter-darks the area. Then Laylak goes to Gost Yaroch and Dark-fires the Queen's boat, killing everyone on it, including the Queen's pets, friends and mother Le'el. Etanya survives by shifting places with Gray, who nearly drowns. (Poor soul). Finally Laylak collapses an entire mile radius of Dark-sea which includes Gray's chair of spiritual movement. Laylak waits at the centre of his destruction for Gray to arrive. Alyx warns the Towers at 5am about Gost Iren's fires. The Resistance does what it can to save lives in Gost Iren, using Celese mostly. Ceraph gives Ross a bone that Tess uses to make a 200'rad waterburst. After Dawn, Gray goes to Esium city as the Lord of the Eternal Light and kills some priests and guards. "I declare the passageway into Esium clean", he yells and continues attacking the Temple of Molph. |

drops a two ton rock right through the Palasdine boat, sinking it.
Thorgustan explores the Kaomi lands and finds ancient tablets of history. Alyx begins training a woman called Laura in swordplay so she might get revenge. |

is in Beldorn with Celese visiting Lord Dunston
in the Town of Hordel and Guildmaster Have
of the Red Cloth. Guards begin loading the food bought by Mercy in 2599
into the mirror for transport.

| 19/12 | After
receiving premonition of forthcoming death, Hollis consults various friends
about the chance of having a child. She goes ahead without Ross's blessing
as she wishes to have one as quickly and as perfect as possible. She goes
into her imagination, comes out a man and takes a sample of sperm before
returning as a
woman again and impregnating herself. The impossible happens as her two identical bits of spirit do not cause friction to make life, but still do anyway. She conceives a child and begins cloistering herself inside Hethcanter's Planal Key to pass weeks at its x25 rate. Hethcanter is promised alot of aid for his help. Ross is visited by Minnow of Nox who tells him about the Star of Overrule and a mad Chaos Lord that has been unleashed to get him. Ross is not happy and gets drunk underneath a tree. Ross
later visits Providence and hires two dozen mages to help keep the peace
in Gost Iren. He then goes to Gost Iren and cleans up the place like a
blazing sherrif.
Gray
confronts Laylak under Darksea and dies. But Laylak's Lullreth Crume seal
fails to trap his soul.

poisoned like another priestess in the Temple.
A flippant comment from Ross sets Eldon counting to 44,500,000. He finishes in 51 days time. (He's not that good at counting). Goruan and his group begin excavating the Tomb's of Derry. They accidently unleash a plague of docility upon the city - carried by a girl called Marie. |

YthCranzst is summoned by Gray to eat the rock surrounding his spirit-chair. Minnow leaves. Eldon (Ross' baby dragon) upsets hethcanter by knocking over very precious liquids. Ross visits the Temple of Luaci. |

Mirror-mir frame arrives from Revan, but it doesn't work as Lullreth Crume's
Seals are like a bubble and merely give when pushed.
Niveve is attacked by Shayr of the Living Dark. Niveve is defeated but enters into a Cocoon of Soul-Fire. |
| 23/12 | Gray questions Omens about the DeathWatch plans. He learns that they are supremely confident in destroying all the Spirits of Akilla at SpiritGuard. Putting two and three together to make confusion, he also learns that the Seal of the Sun is not in Laylak's vault and begins an evacuation of SpiritGuard with Alyx. |
| 24/12 | Alyx
decides to use the Chain of Akilla
to constrict around the city's bridge and collapse it, so she is lowered
with certain other spirits into the strange mist that surrounds SpiritGuard.
The chain is placed around the central strone block and activated just
as the DeathWatch arrive. But the bridge does not fall.
All the non essential beings are safely away so Gray begins a one-man defence. "Taramon, how's it feel to be dead !" In a confrontation against the DeathWatch, Ashar aids Gray. He offers to shift Gray onto the middle of the bridge so that Gray can powerstrike and make it topple. Gray accepts but is left stranded in the mist. He has to agree to listen to Ashar if Ashar takes him out again, which he does and the bridge falls. The Seal of the Sun is not exposed by Taramon, who leaves with it again. When Gray returns to the deep-cave he finds a strange stone with a glow in the centre. He power-strikes it and dies as a magical heat radiates outwards, poisoning his aura and that of a mile radius. Ross receives an invite to Laylak’s end of year party at the Palace. Coronation of King Matthew Prior in Yarili. Ross captures a Living dark human assassin with four items, lurking in the sewers. He finds him by using the Veil of the Guide. General Orgo, Rilanmos and Sir Rulen of Emonra lead an attack on the Palasdine troops entrenched on an island. The Palasdine Wizards conjure a black Dragon from their ship's sail, but Hollis and Ross defeat it. 60 Prisoners are taken, including 11 Weave Wizards. Laylak sends Merlendy and the T.O.H.S an invite to his Erintide party. "Feel free to come and celebrate my coronation..." Ross hatches a plan against Laylak's palace - he needs fire and lots of it. |

- back again - learns that the stone was the heart of a Dragon called Aggedan.
The
days of suspecting the Resistance begin between Gray & Alyx. They are
long, very long. Noel, Lord of the Lions, calls Gray's dreaming spirit
to his savanna. There Gray is threatened not to interfere with Kane's plans
for Evost Derry.

frees Makailla
from a 1600yr imprisonment and restores her to life with one of the Haimish
Wish-stones. Simultaneously, all the Spirits feel a sudden drain of energy.
Makailla appears to Hide & Seek. Hide flees but Seek is charmed and tells Makailla many things. Omens walks right into Makailla's web. He is utterly destroyed when she thinks (quite correctly) that he is a trespasser in her veil. Foose dies, leaving Aran stunned and Gray and Alyx with nothing to do. Panic spreads amongst the Spirit's of Akilla when Hide tells everyone about seeing Akilla. Gray visits Daig and the Shieldmaidens for an answer. He is told "they will have to keep their faith. The test is upon them." Gray and Alyx attack Durnris Thral the Giant King, killing him and the mage Jeggel. Many items are salvaged. Goruan hassles 3 Vampires in the Temple of Shiene, E.Derry. They emerge that night to kill him, but only one finds him and that one is driven back. The Towers & Tess have to be cleaned after the Doman pollutes the area with a poisoned skull-cap. The Deathwatch and the Spirit's of Akilla play cat and mouse in the deeps. Ross orders one of Tempest's fireballs to be used on the Palace of Esium. Hundreds of priceless treasures and historical objects are destroyed. Laylak does not respond. |

The Spirit’s of Akilla search for Makailla. The Deathwatch continue searching for the Spirit’s of Akilla. Gray summons 9 haunts against the Orin guards of Esium’s palace. Niveve explores the Pale Wood in Yarili. Gray tries to awaken the undead of the Pale Wood - Lord Grutha and Gen Belgard. He decides to let them use the Book of Arda and summon their Drum of battle from Laylak’s vault. With the drum they can march beyond the Pale Wood's borders... they ally themselves to Gray. Alyx dreamshifts randomly
into a Mordark coven vault in Beldorn. She steals a demon claw and suit
of spell absorbing chainmail.

6) arrives at the Towers. He invites Ross to visit Laylak’s dungeon
(a trap as Ross soon finds out) and tells about playing dominoes with the
Wraith King.. and winning.
9 were killed in the Palace Fireball - ordered by Lord Ross and carried out by Tempest the Raven. Learn that on 16/12, 60 whales beached themselves in Yarili. New mage in Yarili firing Blue-bolts of energy. Ross and Avalon give each other headaches over the Dragon King and Dragon God theories that they have learned from a Palasdine prisoner. Ire will reincarnate. Marjen kills Ron the barbarian in T.O.H.S. Ross banishes him from the Towers to fend for himself in Wraith land. Alyx and Gray scry Beltane on Pheonix Isle, outside the Temple of Euronamus. Beltane summons the “FireChild”. “Arise from your sunken tomb...” Laylak communes with the LD. Difficult decisions ahead. |

After training for an entire day in the misguided hope of learning something that will last more than four hours, Gray releases a power strike on his Holy Hill, trying to awaken something. When that fails, Gray and Alyx play with “Song” for a while. Aran continues to unite the people of Daya. Alyx takes him to the Holy Stones of Risen. |

Bad to Worse
Ross gathers gifts for everyone. DrathThelmox smothers Esium city in a deep fog. Laylak seals the Throne Room with Lullreth Crume. The Cryst Stone is given to the T.O.H.S LayIak is suddenly possessed by the Living Dark. Just after dusk, a 1000 foot high Laylak manifests over Esium. The entire city is drained dry of life. People flee into the countryside. Laylak crumbles a trench around the city, 100’ deep by 70’ wide but fails to drain the T.O.H.S. In anger he opens a dark portal and goes. Eldar Haletha receives a vision of Laylak’s forthcoming attack on Mount Eldahar itself ! Things are now way out of hand. Ross, Gray and Hollis are
all on Mount Eldahar
when the manifested Laylak appears. The monstrous sized "Laylak" tries
to destroy the main gate with a gaze-drain (500
Pow in intensity). All the earth and vegetation around Mount
Eldahar dies. The sky goes black; even the air vanishes, causing a terrible
vaccuum.
Mount
Eldahar must now respond directly to the threat of the Living Dark.
One of the three signs of Orion's return has now taken place and Elluva knows it. He secretly doesn't want Orion to return - like the rest of his people he doesn't truly understand Orion's mind or genius - Will Orion punish them for plotting against his Great Plan? Elluva would rather not find out. Gray attempts to make "peace"
with Lord Ross by letting him use Wan's Book of the
Arda. He sends a letter to the Towers saying; "To
Lord Ross - I've never done any harm. I've been a good guy all along and
given magical items (where appropriate). Due to Esium's current situation
I propose a congenial alliance before we grow too far apart. I apologize
for anything you think I have done wrong but THE WRAITH'S MUST DIE!"
7pm A message is left for
Alyx at the Palace of Gost Yaroch. From Laylak it reads - "Priestess
of Death, deliver the Seraph to me in 24 hours or your Doman is Darkbait.
Leave message in the throne room of Evost Derry."

3am Laylak stores Gray's
dead body inside his Castle of Living Darkness. He turns the room into
a shrine and locks himself inside for several hours. Servants passing by
hear him muttering to someone - "Dead Doman, Dead
Doman, the Doman is Dead - but he'll come back. Dead Doman Dead Doman."
7am Hollis gives birth in Pendragon's Planal Key to Danae Mercy Celeste - the second greatest mental strength to ever exist on Eldahar. Danae's mind learns how to shield itself within minutes of being born. Not even Hollis can penetrate the shield ! Hollis sired the child herself, transforming herself inside her own imagination into a man, then entering the world and taking samples of what she would need. When Ross and Hethcanter find out what she's done, they call it unnatural and get quite flustered. Tess on the other hand admires Hollis' ingenuity, believing Hollis has the right to make a child. After all, Hollis may not be around much longer, born herself from a sentient artifact. Goruan sits hiding in a cave,
guarding Makailla's
body.
